No removable crumb tray making it difficult to clean.Crumb build-up is a problem when these are used for toast – main reason I want it. They get VERY hot and have to be cleaned of these crumbs. Almost impossible in this oven.

Takes 12 minutes to cook toastI got this because it was simple and small. I did not want a complicated thing with features I never intended to use. Mainly for me would be a toaster. But it takes a very long time to cook toast at least 12 to 15 minutes. It only has a single line for the heating element, I mean a single heating element across the top and a single heating element across the bottom. My older model had a heating element that was U-shaped. So this one is really slow. However it is simple and is light weight. It has the door in the optimal place.

Only two control knobsDoes three marvelous things but only with two knobs. Baking and toasting are on one knob and toasting range from white to burnt is so narrow I found it impossible to make toast of same color consistently. Griller did work fine and oven did come on but I can’t handle inconsistencies. Returned it to Amazon and ordered a different model, similar price range with three knobs, which presumably will provide better adjustment on a dedicated knob for consistent toasting. Amazon free returns are real for Prime members and well worth the few dollars per month for membership!

No stop buttonWe use this for small things that need to be oven cooked instead of using the large oven. Also, used for toast etc. the only thing I don’t like is there is no stop button. Also it’s hard to read the temperature settings
