This product is completely useless to anyone who is in the UK – it has an American plug point and as such will not work based on voltage of UK plugs.

This crockpot is a great size, has some nice features such as the locking lid and the very fancy chalkboard sides so you can write the menu on the outside for big gatherings…. BUT be forewarned…. this puppy weighs a TON empty. I’m absolutely certain I will not be able to carry it to the functions I bought it for by myself when it is full of food. I’ll have to enlist the men in the house to lug it about for me. Or call Superman. Otherwise, it’s great….

I gave this slow cooker 1 star for the cool feature that you can use chalk to write on the outside.
I have used this slow cooker a 2 times now. Once to cook soup broth and a once to cook a ham.
The slow cooker has not been working properly.
The slow cooker took a long time to bring my soup broth to a boil. Once it was boiling, it stopped. It was just warming after that, even though the setting was on high.
I slow cooked a ham for Thanksgiving. The ham was in the slow cooker for just over 8 hours and not completely cooked. during this time I had it on high for a quarter of the time, and on low the rest.
This may be a faulty slow cooker that I received, but it is not working as it should for me.
