My moms crockpot was awful so I got her this for mothers day. She loves it, she boxes it back up after each use and tells me its so pretty

This item does not have a UK plug and the lid doesn’t fit tight – poor product – then to return have to drop to a UPS depot to ship back to USA – don’t bother.

I like the looks of this crock pot. I have tested it some but haven’t cooked with it yet. I had a crockpot that measured 4.5 quarts. I needed a bigger one and took a chance on this one. It is a full 7 quarts to the top of the stone wear. The lid’s rim would be touching water. It is 7 quarts but the useable size would be 6 quarts tops. The controls are simple. Set the mode (High or Low) and set the count-down timer. When the countdown is complete it shifts to Warm. That is it. It is not more programmable than that. For me, that is enough. I like simple. I tested it on my glass cooktop, moved it, and felt the glass. It is very warm. You might wish to test it on something heat resistant. It came nicely packaged and unbroken. One more thing, the metal handles have a rubber or plastic covering that doesn’t completely insulate the handles. I used hot pads to move the unit.

In all the years I have shopped with Amazon, I usually do not have bad reviews. I ordered this crockpot and then got a replacement. The first crockpot handles were so hot that my daughter-in-law burnt her fingers when she tried to pick it up. Amazon sent me a replacement and I tested it as soon as I received it. Within 25 minutes the outside of the pot was extremely hot and so were the handles. I do not feel safe using this crockpot. It can burn someone severely and can potentially be a fire hazard. I have had many crockpots in my lifetime, but never experienced something like this. I am sorry that I have to return, because I have always loved the crockpot brand!!

The outside of this crockpot gets very hot. You want to put it someplace where you won’t need to move it, but if you do use some sturdy pot holders to lift. And I recommend keeping out of little children’s reach to avoid burn. Otherwise it does it’s job— does what is is supposed to do. Easy to use, and it’s pretty.

This worked exactly as stated. Since I work outside the home, having a timer is a must.

This review is for the Crockpot 7 Quart Slow Cooker with Programmable Controls and Digital Timer. I would have given it 5 stars except that the first one we got had a defective timer. I put a stew in for 8:30 and it turned off in a little over 7 hours. To be sure it wasn’t “operator” error; I filled it half way with water and set the timer for 8:30. In a little over 2 hours it was already 20 minutes fast. Amazon made returning it easy and I asked for a replacement. When the replacement came I did the water test on it and the timer was fine. So it may have just been a fluke. However, I’d recommend testing it before using the first time just to be sure. The only issue I have is with the instructions. Fortunately the controls are intuitive. The instructions omit the “Mode” button, which you press to select high or low heat before setting the time by pressing the “+” or “-“buttons. I cooked a chuck roast as the first meal in it and it came out fine. Cleaning it was easy. Unlike our previous slow cooker, it does not have a rubber gasket around the lid so the smell of what you cooked last does not linger.

For the price and the amount I’ve already used it, it’s definitely paid for itself. Large enough for my family of five to use everyday. Makes cooking so simple!

Easy to use with the digital settings.
