Our daughter was always borrowing our old crock pot… so we went and bought the digital version of the crock pot and gifted our old unit to her. It works great. Only one thing odd about the new crock pot is that the glass cover doesn’t tend to cover the top of the unit as well as the glass cover on the old crock pot. It almost seems like the cover was from a smaller version of our crock pot… but it works and does the job. On receipt the plastic handle on the top glass cover was broken… we contacted the company immediately and sadly they didn’t have spare handles to repair this obvious warranty type item. They suggested that we either send the entire unit back to Amazon or for us to go and simply buy a new handle on Amazon – which is what we did… we paid 9 bucks to get a new handle the next day via Amazon. Fortunately the quality of the aftermarket handle is better then the flimsy plastic handle that came originally on the crock pot. All said and done… we love this crock pot.

I received this yesterday. I had a roast that I was planning on cooking and was waiting for a new crock pot to cook it in since my old one was played out. I took it out of the packaging, plugged it in, and checked whether it would get hot or not. It got hot pretty quick; I was tickled with it. It appeared to be what I was looking for. I used it today. It cooked all day without any problems. The roast turned out great. While cleaning up, I noticed a huge dent in the backside of the base. I have already disposed of the box and all the packaging, or I’d send it back. I can’t believe that I didn’t see it before using it. But I sat it on the counter and didn’t look at the back side of it. I’m not sure how the heating element is routed within the base. I only hope that the unit doesn’t fail prematurely because of the large wrinkle in the base. I might add that there wasn’t any sign of damage to the box that it came in, had there been, I would’ve checked it more thoroughly before using it. If not for the wrinkle in the unit, it would have been a five-star rating

I use product quite a bit for family meals. It makes week nights easier. Timer function n timer controls make it easy to put it on and walk away

It’s going to be the same thing. This is the only crock pot I’ve ever owned that will actually burn something. Even if you put it on low, it gets just as hot, just as fast, as the high temperature setting. I still use it a lot, though. It’s not bad. I’d rather use my trusty crock-pot (of which the shortcomings I am well aware) than learn to use an insta-pot. I have a stove-top pressure cooker, too. Guess I’m just old school like that. It would be better to buy this crock pot, than to go without one. It’s a kitchen workhorse!

I like the look of this crockpot, the fact that it’s digital and has a keep warm feature and a large 8 quart size. I do, however feel.it is absolutely overpriced, even on sale (currently $75)
I purchased 3 as Amazon Warehouse deals to curb the original high price. The first one I purchased was listed as “Very Good” Condition, no notations of anything being missing or damaged, just a note that the original box as damaged and was priced at $51. It arrived with a huge, hard to miss dent on the outer side of the crockpot. Initiated return
Purchased 2 more from warehouse deals on Amazon Prime Day because they were offering an extra 25% off the warehouse deal units making those only $37.50 each! Decided to go with ones listed as “Like New” which is the best condition items on warehouse deals are offered as. 1 of the 2 arrived yet again, with a giant, unmistakable dent on the front of it.
I have purchased things from Amazon Warehouse Deals plenty of times in the past and have never had so many issues with items being in worse condition than described. But with these crockpots at least, either no one is actually checking them over, or huge dents are considered “Like New” or “Very Good Condition” for some reason.
So, I just have one that actually arrived as described, and won’t be purchasing another. It’s a good crockpot but not worth the high regular price, in my opinion.

My old crockpot broke so I tried this one from the same manufacturer. It has a capacity large enough to fit a roast; the timer is wonderful and indispensable!

I use a crock pot for two things: Stews and sous vide. The sous vide tends to be the tricky one, and this crock pot works if you are careful.
The problem is that the lowest setting (warm) goes well over 140 degrees. I imagine that’s deliberate, as it keeps food out of the “danger zone”, but it doesn’t work well for sous vide. My old crock pot was perfect because it topped out on its lowest setting at around 135 to 138. I like my steaks medium, so that allowed it to get to the perfect temperature for throwing it on a super hot skillet to give it a sear.
With this crock pot, I have to monitor the water and take the meat out when the water gets to the high 130s. It’s doable. The steak was delicious. But I can’t give it a “5” for temperature control.

First, you should know I am a huge Crockpot user and have had several in the past. I retired my last one in the summer when it just died on me. It was about 8 years old. This is the same type of crockpot — almost identical in operation — just larger than my old one. When I noticed mentions of smoking and smelling, I decided to try this new crockpot in my room, rather than in my kitchen, since I rent, and the smoke alarm near the kitchen could be a real problem if it went off. This is a very small rental, as I am elderly. I don’t want to give them reason to ask me to leave. Anyhow, I filled it halfway with water to try it out, set it on low for 2 hours. It was already stinking in the first fifteen minutes. I am not convinced that smell won’t cause food to taste weird. Also, the glass in the lid is loose inside the silver border around it. That can’t be right. I’ve had this thing since summer, and it’s nearly November when I’m getting around to trying it out before making chili. So it’s way too late to return. I’m just disappointed so far in a company I’ve trusted since they started making slow cookers. I didn’t want one of the fancy new versions. I just wanted my Old Faithful Crockpot. Guess those days are over. And who the heck decided to make all appliances stink on the first use? I got a new microwave and a toaster — STRONG warnings on both of the smell and smoke. I’m 75 years old. This was never a problem before in anything I’ve bought. This last decade, everything smells funny and smokes. Nobody likes this. Fix it, appliance people.

Crockpot arrived in good time but I haven’t used it yet. The plastic handle for the lid is cracked. It was well packaged and it appears to have been over tightened during assembly. I made inquiries to rectify the problem but to no avail. I do not wish to return the whole crockpot at my own expense and am hoping the sender will provide me with a new handle.
Otherwise the crockpot is the perfect size and I love the appearance. Will definitely increase the stars if problem is rectified.

I’ve had a crockpot before, although, not this brand. It was big enough, had the control’s I needed and materials seemed solid. I ordered it on Saturday at 3:30 or so, and by 8pm I had it. Not the first time I’ve had that kind of delivery time! Put two pork loins, vegetables and seasoning in and 10 hours later, on low, it smelled great. Totally satisfied – would buy again!
