Works as advertised. A bit tricky at first to get the right dipping technique down but once you figure that out is easy to use and makes crepes quickly. Only down side batter can get under rim and become trapped inside.

Took some getting used to, but eventually made great, thin crepes with it. I noticed that the first two crepes were perfect, but by the third, the crepe maker wasn’t grabbing the batter out of the batter pan. I learned that if the pan is too hot, the batter won’t stick to it. So my trick was to flip the button on the handle to “off” when my crepe was halfway done cooking (right after I flipped it), then let it sit off for 30 seconds or so before getting new batter. By then the pan was cool enough to pick up batter. Then switch it to ON, repeat.

Just got mines and so excited about using it. Sadly, there was no spatula like it had mentioned. I plugged it in and tested it out to see if it worked since it was missing a product and it seems to turn and heat up fine. Just didn’t get everything as described.

We received this crepe maker in the mail today and decided to have crepes for dinner. The batter recipe included in the cookbook was perfect (and yes, the 30 minute rest is necessary or you get bubbles).
I wish the batter pan was sturdier, it felt really flimsy. But the griddle itself was easy to use and the lights tell you when everything is done. There was some trial and error – instructions said to butter the griddle, but doing so made the batter slide off and back into the batter dish. Solved that problem by not greasing the griddle, it wasn’t necessary anyway, the non stick surface had the crepes sliding off easily. We made crepes for 10 people with 2 batches of the regular recipe. I simmered strawberries and sugar in one pot and a super ripe apricot with butter and brown sugar in another. We made some whipped cream, set our Nutella and banana slices and the kids were in heaven. Worth every penny!!

The MasterChef cordless crape maker is ok, but makes a very small crape. I found it difficult to dip and flip without getting crape batter everywhere or having batter slip off. It did a good job cooking the crape. It clearly had been returned by another customer, as it was missing some packing materials. If I were to order a crape maker in the future, I would not pick this one, I would purchase a traditional style one.
