Very handy for drying mushrooms. I wish I could get a expensive one that opens like and oven and is more spacious, but it works all the same anyway so why spend more? I was concerned how the levels were so thin, like there is not much room. But I flip some of the levels upside down and then you get way more room which after some drying time everything shrinks and fits fine. You just have to stack them more carefully cuz they don’t naturally click in that way. Has handy time and temp setting. Does what I need it to do, and I paid a fraction of the price.

I’ve had the dehydrator for a few months and I have used it 3 times. It dried the vegetables pretty well, but I had to run it longer than directions recommended. I’m not sure if I didn’t cut the vegetables fine enough or if it’s the dehydrator. I was able to make spice powders, so I’m satisfied. Easy to clean, not noisy and easy to operate.

I purchased my Cosori dehydrator 9-20-22 from Amazon. I received it pretty quickly. I also purchased screens for drying herbs and the fruit rollup/leather trays. After washing it I put it to use right away drying some Thai basil. It did a lovely job of drying the basil. I have also made apple chips a couple of times. This week I’m trying fruit rollups and then beef jerky.
My Cosori is easy to use. Zero learning curve after reading the manual. It is quiet and fun to use. Now I’m looking for things to dehydrate! Well done Cosori.

needed extra and this worked. Same size as came with the dehydrator

During fruit harvest, I use my dehydrator almost daily. It’s a work horse. Easy to operate, easy to clean, and holds a lot of fruit when using the additional two trays; to make the seven tray limit.
If there is anything I would suggest as an improvement, it would be the design of the top cover. The design limits the top tray height. A simple redesign would provide the same height on the top tray that is possible on the other trays. They also tend to crack and split apart, having to patch them together with tape. This doesn’t look good.
Redesign suggestion for the lid: Heavier plastic to prevent cracking and higher sides to allow for the same height as the other trays.
Overall, it is a five star machine.

I purchased the Corsi dehydrator to make fruit leather and jerky. I have some severe gastric issues that mean even the most “organic” commercially processed foods cause me great upset. Whereas if I do it myself, I have no issues.
One thing I did notice is that the times listed in the recipe book that comes with the dehydrator are very much approximate. Also, I noticed that I had better results if I rotated the trays during the process. So, for example, moving the bottom most tray to the top and the top to the bottom, in order. (So #7 became #1, #6 became #2, ect) That was for the fruit leather.
For the jerky, I still rotated the trays but noticed that the bottom trays were getting done a lot faster than the listed time in the recipe booklet.
Overall, it’s a good machine. Easy to use. Easy to clean up. I definitely reccomend getting the accesory mats for fruit leather and jerky. Realize that you will still need to use parchment paper for the fruit leather. It says to remove the fruit leather from the parchment paper after 6 hours, but I could not do that as it was still too wet/tacky. I just left it on for the entire time, which made it much easier to deal with. Alas, parchment papers do not come in round portions, so I had to spend time cutting it to size; I did not mind that. Some people might, but I figure if you are dehydrating your own foods, you understand that it’s not going to be a fast or completely convenient process. It’s going to require some time and effort; it’s not like popping round to the local 7-11 when you want a packet of chips or what have you.
We did strawberry fruit leather, Siracha honey jerky and Smokey Maple Jerky. Turned out awesome, though the fruit leather took dang near 24 hours to finish off. It was well worth the wait and easier than doing it in my oven.
I recommend this machine for someone who is just starting out; just realize that you are going to have to order the accessory mats separate. They DO NOT come with the machine! You can get universal accessories but be careful, as I found out the ones I got were a bit too large and had to be trimmed down.
All in all, it’s a good little work horse.

I have been using it for three or four months now and it does a great job. I would recommend purchasing mesh liners because smaller veggies will fall through.

Have been using this almost every day since I purchased it as the garden decided to go nuts with tomatoes all at once, and it’s done a great job. Have also done peaches and bananas, those seemed to dry faster than the tomatoes. The included recipe book has some things I would not have thought to make with a dehydrator (cookies, for example) and more jerky recipes than I would’ve thought. Easy to set up, easy to program, and pretty easy to clean.
Do keep in mind your room humidity does make a difference! It’s been +90% humidity here so it has to run a bit longer than the suggested times, but I expected that.
Also, I purchased extra trays, and am glad I did as it seems to handle 7 trays just fine and it means I can do larger batches.
