First I would like to say I purchased this for my wife’s birthday because she has been wanting a dehydrator. I did my due diligence reviewing different products and checking out customer reviews so with that said I purchased this dehydrator. Now for my wife she is 100% satisfied with this product. She has informed me she loves it so much she has not stopped using it. She has dehydrated herbs, spices and vegetables that I’m aware of at this time. Bottom line is this dehydrator got five out of five stars on everything category. I definitely would recommend this to anybody who’s looking for a dehydrator that is easy to use, easy to clean and per my wife she’s just having so much fun.

I had written a review giving the dehydrator a 2 star because it burned tomatoes. While my review was never posted, I’m going to amend the review. My cheaper dehydrator was set at 135 degrees for tomatoes so that’s what I did on this dehydrator, and they burned. I did another batch now on this dehydrator at 95 degrees and no burning. So overall, just need to get used to what temperature to use. Overall, pleased with the unit now that I’m not burning fruit. Love how quiet it is.

Been using this consistently and it works great! One design flaw that stops me from giving it 5 starts is that the beeping sound it makes when it’s done is VERY loud and it beeps for a LONG time. Wish I could adjust it.

Great dehydrator, easy to use and adjustable temperature (also time however time doesn’t matter. Good power for drying meats and veggies. The only complaint is the door is a little wobbly when open, however it shuts tight when in use. 600W heater is sufficient and 10 trays are a nice bonus. Order a recipe book and additional drying sheets for fruit rolls and small items. Cleanup is very easy, just wash the stainless steel racks and dry them completely (I just run them in the dehydrator for about 30 minutes. I’d have given it 5 stars except for the door (it’s irritating for the quality of the machine).

We have used it on several things now. Tomatoes, apples and a some other fruits. The results were always good. It does seem to take a bit longer than the minimum times but hasn’t taken over the max times in the book. It is made of plastic and ours was a bit warped on the side and cockeyed so the door rubs the bottom and pushes it square as you close it but it doesn’t affect operation so its not a big deal. I would like to try some jerky in it as I have never done jerky before as my old circular dryer didn’t have a fan in it. My S-I-Law bought one after she saw it and a Niece is looking at them now also. Overall so far I like it.

Great machine! Not small though so you’ll need to plan ahead for the space it takes up! It dehydrated far better and a bit faster with the side fan instead of one under the racks like my old one.

the drip trays wipe right off. this thing is huge and it does not fold away or is it easily hidden, I have no issues with that… you might, so its something to think about
I have made beef jerky, turkey jerky, and tuna jerky in this thing and it was done and delicious to dried perfection in 7 hours. you can do massive amounts at one time as well so its fantastic if you are going on a long hike and don’t want to batch things out. There is also an option to hang your meats or fish. pretty cool, doing this with some fish later we will see how it goes.. I love this thing. we hike and camp a lot so this is in constant use. if you buy this one you will not be sorry, its truly a great piece.
