This really does do a good job of cooking hard eggs with steam rather than in water. An extra step or so versus simply boiling. However, the instrument for piercing the egg is too dull and a bet that I have broken about a dozen eggs using this piercing tool. If one went elsewhere to find a good, sharp, quality piercing instrument, then the product would be surprisingly good. Bottom like: a couple of extra steps, but the results are worth it. The piercing tool, however is simply trash, and quite frustrating to use. Just be forewarned.

I bought one that cooks for up to 7 eggs at a time. My brother saw it and liked it. He wanted me to get one that cooks 14 eggs (double layers) for him to take back to his oversea home.

No more filling up pots and waiting for it to boil. Comes with a measuring cup to fill up with water and it shows you exactly how much you need for the type of boiled egg you want. When the timer shuts off its done. Fits 7 eggs on the bottom and 7 on top. I found the eggs were a lot easier to peel and the shells were not sticking. Great for college students. Only negative is the writing is starting to peel off the measuring cup after the first few uses

I was given a single decker egg cooker and loved it. So when I saw this “double decker” egg cooker I jumped!
The reason is YOU CAN FINALLY PEEL FRESH HARDBOILED EGGS! Every time! No mess, fast perfect hard boiled eggs. I went a bit crazy today and plugged in the single (cooks 6) and the double (cooks 14!) And in about 20 minutes I had 20 peel able eggs. What a time saver…..no cleanup!

It’s smaller than you’d think and that’s awesome when things compete for countertop space. It’s a Christmas gift so I’ll update when it’s opened. But so far I’m happy with its size and the box arrived in good shape despite being shipped naked. Which I love the less cardboard but glad I got to the mail first today lol

Our last one only made six eggs, but with the egg lovers in our house it was not enough. My kids love egg salad and devices eggs. This cooks more and they are so easy to peel .

Super easy to use and the shells just fall off the hard boiled eggs. No more peeling and boiling water!! The best $16 I have ever spent.

Cook 14 at time so have some for very day. Possess is not hard but have to cool eggs quickly after buzzer goes off. Don’t much care for putting hole in each egg before cooked as I have broken a couple but eggs do come out hard and no gray rim on egg yolk.
