I so love my little egg cooker. I have only made hard boiled eggs. It is soooo easy to use. Just put the water in, the eggs and put the lid on it, push the button to turn it on. It beeps when the water runs out. The little cup that comes with it has different measures for however you prepare you eggs. If you sometimes burn you boiled eggs because you are getting ready for work and for get that they are on the stove like I do, this is for you.

Made poached eggs well. I decided to try hard boiled. Make sure you are close by monitoring as it has to be shut off as soon as it beeps or you scorch the metal plate. The second time I hard boiled eggs one has a small crack I didn’t see. White stuff and bubbles everywhere. Major mess to clean up. If you’re careful it’s pretty useful.

This works as expected and as most other egg cookers of this type that I have owned. The only thing that I don’t like about this one is that the end of cycle alarm does not silence unless you physically turn it off where all other egg cookers that I have owned automatically turn themselves off when done cooking.

Probably only use this on average a couple of times a month, but it is worked well over the last 3 years. The guide marks on the water receptacle are a good point of reference but you will find the right water for cooking the eggs just like you like them.
Also very easy to make small cheese and ham egg omelets with the included dish. Cleaning is very easy and I usually spray with a diluted mixture of vinegar I keep in the kitchen after the cooking cycle and it helps remove any hard water residual. I usually keep an eye on it while it’s cooking eggs and shut it off before the alarm goes off as I assume there is a thermal fuse that kicks in after the water is gone and I figure it’s easier on the unit just to shut it down manually before that but who knows if it makes a difference or not for the longevity of the appliance.

This little egg cooker does a great job! I used to use my instant pot. And while it does a good job also, I found it was just so big and bulky to take out and a lot to clean just for a dozen or so eggs. I guess if I’m doing a ton, it’s quicker, but for just a smaller batch, this is great. Now I don’t follow the directions verbatim. First I don’t poke a hole in them. When I would, the egg white would puff out the top and the eggs would get all wonky. So I leave them as is and cook them. When they are done, before I take them out of the cooker, I use the ends of my tongs and just tap the top to break the shell and then submerge them into an ice bath. That allows the cold water to get between the egg and shell and releases it beautifully. I will add that I’m using fresh eggs, these were laid about 1 1/2 weeks ago, they sat on my cupboard and I didn’t wash till I used them and they didn’t break as I peeled. I did have one crack while cooking, but that egg was already a lot wider than some others and another had a small crack in the egg white but that’s because I went a little hulk on it and I broke it while peeling the shell off. Otherwise they really come out perfectly. The bottom does get a burnt look, but I just cover the bottom of it with splash of white vinegar, let it sit for about a minute, then take a piece of paper towel and wipe it clean and it comes out perfect. In the picture, the dirty bottom was after 3 uses. I didn’t clean it the last time I used it, it was put away before I could get to it, and then I cooked 2 batches of eggs this use. So even after sitting, it came clean. Also I don’t use the little handle thing, I keep it off because I can get one extra egg in it. If the eggs are the jumbo size, I can’t get a 7th egg though, it’s too tight and sometimes the lid won’t fit on. I’ve never used the other pieces, so I can’t say how those work, I only use this for hard boiled eggs and it’s my favorite way by far.

My friend suggested I get an egg cooker and I laughed, an egg cooker? I’m old school baby, I use a saucepan, but she kept on going on about it so I decided to get one and man, I should have got one years ago, I used to get so many cracked or broken eggs, or over or under cooked eggs, this is so easy to use, for the boiled eggs you just put in the correct amount of water using the measuring cup provided, poke a hole in the eggs and press the start button, an alarm goes off when they are done and they peel much easier than the ones I cook in a saucepan. I had originally given it 5 stars, but after using it 4 times the metal part where you put the water looks like it’s starting to rust, I have to scrub it to get the brown rust stain off each time I use it. Other than that it still works well.

If loving this hard-boiler more than I love some of my family is wrong, I don’t want to be right. No frills – just easy, perfectly cooked eggs every time in just a few minutes. Protein, here I come.

I’m not sure how I lived without this egg cooker for SO long! I eat two hard boiled eggs each day and it’s just the easiest ever. It takes 15 min to hard boil six eggs, but I leave them in there an extra five minutes (with the machine off) and they come out perfectly. No sticky peels at all! I haven’t tried cooking other styles of eggs, but the hard boiling is fantastic! My husband makes fun of me for how much I LOVE this thing.

Love this little egg cooker. It poaches two eggs perfectly. You have to experiment with water levels to find the right amount for how you like your eggs. I have to fill the water measure cup completely with cold tap water to get hard poached eggs. Clean up is a breeze. Put a little white vinegar in the stainless steel portion and wipe out with paper towel after every use prevents staining and keeps it looking like new. Wash the plastic parts in warm soapy water.
