I got this one for my friend as a gift as they eat boiled eggs every day. I had seen my sister using an egg cooker years back when I visited her in China. I am not an egg lover so never bothered to get one for myself. Since my friend needs one, I just searched amazon to see if I could find something similar. Sure enough, there are many showed up after keying in the key words and there are different brands with multiple functions. I chose this one because I liked the color, but what I got is not exactly the same as it shows online. A bit disappointed! Other than that, it’s a good and handy to use. Especially, its beeping feature is very safe for the elderly and multitaskers.

Just made my first batch of hardboiled eggs and they came out perfect!! I used 6 large eggs, water to the hard-boil line on the cup. I pierced the fat end of the egg and put that end up in the tray and turned it on. Beep went off about 15 minutes later, I turned the steamer off, then let the eggs sit about 5 more minutes before putting them in a bowl of cold water to cool. After about five minutes I pulled one out (I couldn’t wait!), and the shell peeled off super easily, and, voila, a PERFECT egg! I’m so excited!!! More protein options for snacking!! Can’t wait to try the poaching option!

This little thing is amazing! If you are thinking about getting one just buy it! Eggs come out fantastic and best part is this little guy cooks it for you while you can go about your business. Omelets come out fluffy and hard boiled eggs come out lperfect and the egg shells just fall right off.

Overall, I’m very happy with this egg cooker. It is faster than using the pot and the eggs are easier to peel afterward. I use it for soft, medium, and hard boiled eggs. Although I never pierced my eggs before, I strongly recommend using the provided piercer as it seems to help prevent breakage while cooking. I have not tried either the poached or omelet trays because their portions are too small for a family. They may work fine for a single person though.
The issue is that the water fill levels and the cooking times are only the most basic guidelines and cannot he relied upon. I strongly recommend using much more water than the line and then timing carefully. You will need to experiment with the variables of how many eggs and what size they are. Larger eggs will take longer. In general, I’d say that the times for 4-7 eggs in the book are too much for soft and medium eggs. Try adding a minute per every two egg instead. Also be sure to ice bath them to stop cooking. Once you get a feel for the device it works fine, but do not expect to just be able to trust to their times and water levels.

It is tight on space when using larger eggs.
I like to leave a small air space between all eggs; cannot do this with Extra Large or Jumbo.

I bought this over 2 years ago (Aug 2020) and I use it at LEAST once a week. It never had the “alarm” mentioned, which I’m happy about as I can easily see when the blue light goes out when it’s done. Being on Keto, hard boiled eggs are a daily “go to” for me (egg salad sandwiches with low-carb bread is my favorite lunch). This is easy! Just fill the provided measuring cup with water and pour in the bottom; add the egg tray and use the bottom of the measuring cup to poke holes on the wide side of the eggs and place them in the egg tray. Cover, plug in and in a few minutes – perfect hard boiled eggs (I put them in ice water, then peel and save for daily enjoyment in my refrigerator).
After about 1-½ years I noticed the egg poker at the bottom of the measuring cup started to dull, so I started twisting to prevent “shell shatter”. Also, the stainless steel egg tray has gathered a bit of what looks like calcium deposits or stains from eggs that opened a bit due to the dull poker. Other than that, it works perfectly.
I’m going to buy a new one to handle those 2 minor “age” issues. Not bad for $23 to purchase something I can easily use 1-2 times per week for 2 years! No boiling water, stove burners or pots to deal with. Simple to rinse clean, wipe hot plate and put away after use.

I love having hard boiled eggs around for a snack, breakfast, or a salad. This tool is great for making a fresh egg for any use! It’s super easy, quick, and small enough to store away easily. The only think that would make this better would be for the finishing buzzer to be a bit louder.

I can’t tell you how many times I have fallen asleep when trying to boil eggs late at night for deviled eggs, tuna salad or potato salad. No more. Perfect eggs and no more risking the house. This thing is incredible. Wish I had one years ago. So easy to use and eggs come out perfect. I don’t like a lot of kitchen gadgets but this one is a must have. Haven’t tried the omelet. Can’t wait to see how that works

Love this little egg cooker! My eggs are prefect, just the way I like them. Zero mess and done as fast as my kettle boils and the toast pops! Quickly prepared breakfast that’s healthy. I bought it for myself as a bday gift, and I am very pleased. 😃
