Adjustable 2 roller grain mill with a 7lb hopper. To adjust, simply loosen two screws, adjust gap, tighten two screws. Attach a drill easily: Remove the handle with one screw and attach drill, no adapter needed. Hardened steel roller size is 5″ long and 1.25″ diameter. The crank shaft has a 3/8″ diameter. It is suggested to run @ 250 RPM if motorized. Body is anodized aluminum for a lifetime worth of use. Marked Adjustable Roller for Easy Adjustment. Comes with hand crank. Worked ok for two brewsAs others have commented, there are no instructions for assembly. It’s not hard to figure out, but took some adjusting to get it assembled and adjusted. First lesson: bend the flanges at the bottom of the hopper so that the grain drops between the two rollers instead of off to the side. If it goes off to the side it will fall between the roller and the edge without getting milled. Second lesson: once the roller is set to your desired separation, tighten the eye bolts with a wrench. Hand tight is not tight enough: the grain will push the rollers apart to the point where they won’t grind the grain at all.It worked ok for two 5-gallon batches of homebrew, then in the last batch it stopped working altogether. Only one roller is turned by the drive shaft, the other turns when the grain gets pulled past it. Except when it doesn’t, in which case it does not grind anything at all. Then while messing with it trying to get things right, one of the eye bolts used to adjust the rollers sheared off. So now I have the bottom of a bolt stuck in the hole and no way to adjust that side of the roller.I bought this to save a few bucks over the higher quality models you get at a homebrew shop. I learned my lesson; next time I’ll spend the extra $50 to get something that actually, you know, works.

Not the product pictured, poor bearings, scratchedbrief CV: I do metallurgical qualification and failure analysis for a major manufacturer. Sheet metal, bearings, castings, extrusions, aluminum, steel, copper. My first impression: this is NOT the Keg King Maltmuncher featured in the photo. Shame on me for trusting a generic sounding vendor. I received the Evil Twin branded unit. Ton of shop wear, on the sheet aluminum and the roller housing. Neither the driven nor non-driven rollers spin freely. The non-driven has a ‘hot spot’ where it stops, and the driven roller moves with rotation, as if the shaft is bent. It does not look used per se. I don’t expect SKF bearings or Alcoa aluminum. The handle is a joke, yes the hex broach on the crank fits the shaft but the wooden handle is soft and pithy, and no washer so rubs against the crank arm. *Maybe* the rollers are stainless. I will XRF them in the lab to find out.

Good product for the priceI almost didn’t buy this (a year and a half ago) but I’m glad I did so decided to write a short review.At the time when I was looking to buy a new grain mill the prices were 130-150 + and honestly didn’t want to make that investment at the time. This mill was a bit under 100$ (if I remember correctly) but the reviews weren’t the best.Well I can say that after some 30+ brews I’ve had no problems with this product. I hooked it up to the cover of an unused Ale Pail and I mill directly into to bucket which helps for dough in. After all this time it hasn’t come loose and all I uses was two screws and some spacers I had in the tool box. I havne`t used a hand drill or anything since I usually just use around 10-14 lb of grain. Although it didn’t come with instruction to assemble it was very easy to put together.

Best offering for the price.Good price compared to the other offerings online. I had to build my own bucket base, but that literally only took 20 minutes with a jig-saw and screwdriver…cost me another $16 for materials. The hopper is described as 7 lbs. I was only able to put 5 lbs in it, so it may NOT be quite as big as advertised. The rollers are nicely and easily adjustable and the entire thing, after assembly, seems sturdy. Pretty good purchase.

This product came as described. Limited to no instructions …This product came as described. Limited to no instructions, but assembly is rather intuitive, along with grain crush adjustments. Entire product is wrapped in protective blue plastic – product is stainless steel. Some disassembly was required to remove plastic protective coating. Heavy duty product though.

Broke in 6 monthsNo instructions… One piece of paper would help!!! But figured out assembly Pretty easy. Adjustment instructions woulddefinitely help maybe a link? WTH One of the adjustment screws pulled right out. Looked like glued in. Very hard to read adjustment setting. I needed glasses. But it seems like it will do the job for a home BrewerI crush 25lbs a month. So far I only did a test of 2 LBS. Broke 6 Months later. A screw fell out jammed in the roller and it bent.

Works good for the handy-personGot it pretty quick and for reasonable shipping price to Hawai’i. Pro’s: it works well with the crank, easy to set up with some clues. Cons: No instructions so you have to look up other reviewers how-to’s. Also, no screws for the holes to mount on a board, and they are weird size.

Reduce brew day time and stress!I have now made a couple batches with this grinder, and it is a joy to grind 12 lbs. of grains in 5 minutes (I’m using my electric drill to power it), instead of the 90 minutes of hand grinding I used to do with my old grain mill.As a heads up to the next buyer(s), peel off the protective blue plastic covering BEFORE assembling the hopper :).I put a little caulking on the gap to prevent grains from falling on the outside of the rollers (see photo).
