Don’t Hesitate!I’m loving this sandwich grill. If I could give it ten stars I would and I’m not even a big fan or eater of sandwiches.I found myself with four teenagers staying with me for the summer, did a little research and ordered this grill, so of course I had to test it out first and be the guinea pig. Wow, was I surprised at how delicious the sandwiches came out (and I mean plural, that’s how good they were). The handle is shorter than some but for a kitchen gas stove it was perfect, any longer and I would have worried about it tilting over but it’s perfectly weighted and there was no chance of that.I tried one minute on each side with medium heat but that wasn’t enough. Two minutes on each side is perfect.I also discovered that using mayonnaise instead of butter on the outside parts of the bread to lay down on the grill instead of butter was easier than waiting for butter to soften and I already had it out anyway on the counter. For my second sandwich I got more creative (I was on a roll!) and put tuna fish salad in between the cheese lined bread for tuna melt. The grill was easy to clean. I didn’t need to disassemble it but simply wiped it with a soapy sponge and then a clean sponge before wiping it dry. Takes a minute or two.The grill is aluminum with a fluorine coating, is made in China but shipped from Amazon Japan, so I received it super fast.

Easy item! Great price for a fast meal!Super easy to clean. Love that it breaks in half for super easy-to-use for both flipping sandwiches on plates and cleaning. Durable and well made.

So easy to useIf you control the heat you should have no issues. I make the best sandwiches using this little thing, cheese is always nice and melty. Easy to clean, too. Definitely one of my favorite kitchen tools and I use it everyday.

Great buyQuick and easy panini. Makes any sandwich x5 better. Cook over oven burner. Obviously any meat and cheese sandwich, but enhances pb&j’s and my personal favorite, smore sandwiches!! Just buy it, trust me.

What does saku saku mean again?I got my saku saku a while ago and I went on a sandwich craze afterwards. This is coming from a person who hates sandwiches due to how “bland” they feel, but after toasting ’em using this sucker? THEY’RE GREAT! I love this thing! It works exactly as how it’s described, it grills your sandwich to a nice crispiness on the outside. I opted to buy something like this instead of a George Foreman panini press because 1. I don’t have the counter space and 2. I don’t want to deal with cleaning a panini press. If you buy this at least you can stow it away in a drawer more easily, and it’s easy to clean! Literally just rinse it and you’re done (unless you made a gooey sandwich). My only warning is that this thing gets deceptively faster at grilling your sandwiches so if you make more than one sandwich at a time your second sandwich is going to grill A LOT quicker than your first. Don’t leave your consecutive sandwich(es) in there past a minute or two or you’ll char them (I’m not kidding, your saku saku will literally smoke).

Works well.Works well. Still experimenting with it but like it so far. Saw a guy from Japan using one of these. He cooked everything with it, so I purchased one. Use it on an electric stove top.

Makes any sandwitch taste better.I like that this is easy to use and easy to clean. You can separate the two for efficient cleaning and drying. And oh god the delicious crunchiness! This thing really lives up to its name, “saku saku” (Japanese words for light crunch). Although, I’ve used them for cooking meat and chickens too. A person on Twitter was cooking some yakitori chicken in this and had a cold beer next to the burner. So basically, you only need this and a pot for cooking if you’re going on camping; you can cook soup/ coffee/ tea in a pot and cook some meat and then toast some bread on this product. As others said, it’s really easy to burn on this baby. So keep the heat low (mine burns even on the lowest heat so I constantly flips them), keep and eye on them, and be careful. You’ll be rewarded accordingly.
