Sturdy glass jars that won’t break easilyI had to replace the glass jars that came with my yogurt maker as they were thin and broke when my grandson was eating his yogurt out of the jar. These jars have been used at least 5 times in my yogurt maker and have held up well. The glass is thicker and the screw top is easy to put on and off. Although they are dishwasher safe, due to the shape they don’t come out that clean, so I hand wash them, which is actually very easy and not really time consuming. I would recommend these jars.

Substitute yogurt jars with too many corners.I bought these yogurt jars because I needed to make new batches before the last one was finished. They seem to work just fine in making the yogurt, but because of the abrupt changes in diameter, getting the last of the yogurt out becomes a bit frustrating. Also, the tops are a hard plastic and screw on, which don’t seal as well and are harder to put on and get off than the press-on type.

I like making my own yogurtGlad for the additional eight jars. Inevitably a glass jar or two will break. My complaint the manufacturer should design the inside glass so that it is simpler to clean.Current production bottom as well as top has a crease that makes it difficult to rinse for the dishwasher.

For my homemade keto yogurt.I like that these are made of glass and don’t leave my yogurt tasting like silicone. I used silicone ice cream cups I bought from Amazon and used them for my yogurt. You could actually taste silicone with the first couple of bites. These glass jars have enough room for toppings after putting 5oz of yogurt in them. I’m giving it a 4 star because I’m not sure how long the lids will last but the jars seem to be good quality.

Better than the ones you got with the makerI saw several people complain about the lid fit.DITTO! What was the manufacturer thinking??A MUCH better maker that has nicer snap on lids is the Sutek. I NOW have temp control and a timer that goes to 42 hrs.

Fine for what they areThese are fine yogurt jars, they get the job done. The lids are missing the date dial that comes on the original jars, very minimal inconvenience.
