very convenient for someone who has a busy daily schedule and still want to fit coffee/tea into the day.

I am really happy that the updated version has a stainless inside. The older one I had was starting to rust inside and may have had a small leak under earth somewhere underneath. I noticed a very small amount of water under it. It was still fully functional after 5 years of continuous service.I am a daily tea drinker. I recommend this hot water dispenser.

Overall happy with this unit. My only gripe is that this unit is not available with a magnetic plug which is why I give a a 4-star rating rather than 5 star. This unit replaces a 30-year old 3-quart unit that still works but the non-stick surface was wearing out so we went with the 4-quart stainless steel. I doubt that the plug on this unit will last as long as the magnetic plug on my old unit. The whiteish mineral deposit left by mineral water comes right off with a sponge and white vinegar. Overall very happy.

I’ve been using Zojirushi boilers for 20+ years. I’ve gone through maybe a handful. It does deteriorate after 5 years+. It is worth the convenience of having hot water all the time. We drink a lot of tea during the colder months. The stainless steel interior gives me piece of mind compared to the nonstick coating in most. Hopefully it will last just as long before rusting as some reviewers have reported. I do like the melody it plays when the boiler finishes boiling. You could turn it off as well, but i really like it. You could set the timer at night to turn off the heating and reboil the next morning, but it is a hassle to remember to do this nightly, so i typically don’t even use this function.

Having this boiler over one month. So far my experience is great. Three things are improved comparing the old model white one I had. First, it’s made of steel for inside and outside body. Looks very beautiful and clean. Second, it doesn’t leak water outside when you open the lid to refill. And last is the water almost to the bottom when it tells you to refill. I also enjoy the music when its done the boiling. I don’t have any feedback about cleaning since only used for over one month.

It exists in almost all the Asian family.
The material used seems to less solid compared to my previous one.
However, it’s still a very solid

very handy for making tea and coffee throughout the day.

After less than 3 weeks, the boiler started acting out sometimes. The broiler has made a loud noise or shakes sometimes when dispensing water and boiling water at the same time. It doesn’t matter if the water is almost full or half empty. I really like this broiler has a stainless steel interior, but I am going to return the broiler, unfortunately,

Timer button should not design here. Whole family and guest always press it as dispenser. Very stupid design. Not only me, but my friend also use this one, same problem.
Also the cable is not magnetic unplug design. Very inconvenient to refill water.
This is my third Zojirushi water boiler. Before design is much better.

I’ve grown up with hot water dispenser, and Zojirushi is always a reliable brand. What makes the difference is the rear of removing a lid or a piece so you can thoroughly clean them when you need to. They are all nice touches and represent very thoughtful design that is mindful of the end user. This dispenser is perfect for my needs; I drink a lot of hot beverages, so i appreciate the 4 liter size. I also like the different temperature options for different tea types, and the slow mode if you don’t want splashing. Fantastic hot water dispenser.
