Best waffle maker performance but after you finish it is a hell to clean. Waffle plates are not removable so you can imagine the pain. But I think the taste of the crispy waffle is worth it.

We’ve wanted a waffle maker for a while and finally bought this one. No temp controls but it isn’t needed. Plug it in and the ready light comes on when it’s ready. I usually set an Alexa timer for 5 minutes because there is no internal timer. But great waffles. The biggest negative is the plates are not removable for cleanup. A bit of a pain but not a show stopper. Oh, and DON’T use a non stick spray. Brush with oil. Spray actually makes it harder to clean.

I was skeptical about the reviews, but I can honestly say that this is the best waffle maker that I have ever used!
The waffles come out perfect. Crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. Exceptional quality and a good price.

My kids really wanted waffles and we ordered this maker. It arrived quickly, neatly packaged. All was well. So next morning, after making a waffle batter, we set up the waffle maker to heat it up.
I opened it up only to find dust and thin residue all over and in between the squares. There was even a small piece of blue plastic in one spot. It seemed like they’d had it open somewhere in a shop with dust and black particles floating around.
Definitely not new looking!
I had to clean it for a good amount of time, with kiddos waiting and batter deflating. Disappointing.. after cleaning it up and reheating it, I had to throw away the first batch to make sure all the gunk was out.
It worked well after that, no sticking and cooked waffles crisp and even. It’s too sad though because I can’t recommend an item that is shown as new and arrives dirty.

Pretty good waffle maker. There are 2 reasons I only gave it 4 stars. First the top of the waffles do not cook as quick as the bottom so you get a crispy bottom but a soft top. Second it really needs a “waffles are ready light” so you don’t have to sit there timing it. However once you figure the timing you can just have Alexa set a timer for you so… The light it does have is to let you know the plates are ready. This is probably mentioned in the description though and I just missed it so back to the first complaint.
I do want to address the complaints being made about the non-removable plates. Well that was obvious to me from reading the description. I remember my dad making waffles in the 70’s and removable plates were unheard-of and we definitely did not have a dishwasher. He hand cleaned it and it was spotless everytime. Here’s a hint for cleaning use a dish brush that has been dampened and just a drop off dish soap then sit it on its side with a towel under it and use a very light spray of water to rinse (water spray bottles are very cheap) then let it sit and dry. The top does hold in the up position, according to a couple of people it doesn’t but yes, it does. The first batch I made I used to much batter and it was a huge mess but it took me 10 minutes to clean the device and the counter. I really don’t know why these people are complaining. Maybe just go to the Waffle House instead.
Anyway I digress. I made pecan waffles and they are delicious. The waffle maker did its job. I made a big batch so I could freeze some. Waffles freeze great and they fit perfectly in my toaster for reheating.
I’m including picture’s of the waffles and the waffle maker after I cleaned it. I flipped a couple of them so it shows what I was talking about the bottom and tops.
To sum up for a cheap waffle maker you can’t go wrong here.

I received a used item, so I had to clean it out of the box. I have to use a screw driver to take it apart to clean after most uses. I’m very careful now to use a lot less.

This waffle make does not have temperature control. It makes great Belgium waffles. To remove the cooked waffles, you need to insert a fort or a knife to pop it out of its deep grooves. The plates are not removable, that’s why you need to be careful not to overfill and have the batter overflow. You don’t want the batter to sip into the unit. Also, be careful not to touch the heated area, touch the upper part of the lid where the flap is. I would have given it 5 stars if it had temperature control, safer, and easier to remove the cooked waffles without damaging them.

First let me say, if you’re looking for a waffle maker under $50 and wanting to make more than one waffle at a time, you can’t go wrong with this. Is that it makes great waffles that cook evenly and consistently, but it has several drawbacks that are the sacrifice you make at this price point. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase but read below for more details.
First, let me start with the problems. The biggest is that the cooking plates are not removable, meaning that it is a pain to clean. Doing so requires a lot of time and effort as you have to clean it fully assembled, being careful not to get water near the electric components or inside the case, while also holding it open since it does not lock in an open position and will try to close on you. Second, there’s no temperature control. This has not been a real problem for me as the standard “ready” temp seems to work fine. But the ability to adjust it would be a nice addition that you may prefer. Third, the plastic clip that holds it closed is pretty cheap and flimsy. It doesn’t hold it as securely as i would like and it manages to get in the way when opening and closing.
However, those problems are outweighed by a few simple positives. First, it is very spacious, making 4 approximately 5×5 waffles at a time, taking about 4.5 minutes per batch for me. I’m able to actually make waffles for my family without having to store batches to get cold or dry out in the oven. Second, it cooks evenly from corner to corner (provided you fill it evenly). It creates a nice, crispy exterior with soft interior. The non-stick really works and I’ve had no problem removing waffles with a fork or chopsticks, and all of this for just under $40.
So, for me, the benefits outweigh the problems. You can definitely get a better waffle maker if you’re willing to spend twice as much but if you’re not, this is worthy trying.

I got this to replace another waffle maker that came damaged. It works perfectly I just need a little oil on it so use and you could just dry cloth wipe it out. They came in perfect condition and it makes very nice Belgian waffles nice and thick. I’d recommend just want to anyone
