I liked the fact that it heats up quickly, doesn’t stick and tastes so much better than the kind you buy frozen. I used a waffle mix and put left over in container where I can measure 1/4 cup when using next time. Also used the paper towel idea between grates while still hot and clean up was easy!

I bought this to take along on our last vacation because of the compact size. I LOVE this thing!
Today I made 10 waffle sandwiches for my family. It makes the perfect size using Walmart’s frozen (we like the maple) sausages. As I discovered recently on a different blog – you do NOT have to use spray on your nonstick waffle makers! This is a non stick surface. I’ve even made cheese waffles in my big iron and it doesn’t stick. Spray just makes it harder to clean imho. I just bought two more of these little guys today for Xmas presents. One for my son to use in his apt and also an RV camping gift for my boss!

I use these almost every single day. This was a gift for a friend I was visiting so we were able to make some delicious waffles for us both…takes longer for two people but it was ok. Best for single servings. It is easy to clean unless it spills over to the outside bottom piece. It just gets hard as a rock & it takes time to soak it with a paper towel or sponge.

I am not the type of person to leave a review but I had to for this product! This is amazing I am using it to make buns out of eggs for my keto diet. They are the perfect size for a junior Burger with a chicken patty in between and some cheese. The waffle in the picture is made from one egg and Ham that’s it and tastes amazing and only took about 2 minutes to make! Buy this.

Using this for keto chaffles (cheese & egg waffles) as a bun alternative and am in love!
1 egg, 1/2 cup mozzarella, 1 tbsp almond flour. 2 minutes in a preheated and lubed Dash mini.
Fabulous.
Cleans up in a snap, esp if you unplug and put a soapy wet paper towel and close it. Once it’s cool it wipes clean.

I saw negative reviews and almost returned this before trying it. But had a weekend getaway and decided to toss this little dynamo into the mix.
I love that it is small and makes waffles quickly. The size is perfect. No plastic smell. No overheating. I used a Belgian waffle mix that require only added water. Cleanup fine so far.
Wish I had seen the red or the heart shaped before using, though.
At this point after using it for a few weeks, I already have my moneys worth.
A benefit of the small waffle size is if a batch doesn’t turn out quite right, you don’t lose a ton of batter.

There are few items on Amazon for under $10 that are as fantastic as this mini waffle maker. My Wife and I absolutely love it, as does our Little Girl. And what’s not to love about it? It makes perfect Eggo-sized waffles, in record time. I do have a few quick suggestions for anyone that’s interested in getting it, as well as one terrific hack for using this waffle maker that will be a real game-changer for breakfast and desserts. First off, how to use it….
We use Krusteaz Belgian waffle mix, although just about any waffle or pancake mix will do. We recently got a KPKitchen batter dispenser for pancakes and waffles, which makes it easier to get just the right amount of batter into the waffle iron each and every time.
WHAT IF YOU DON’T HAVE A BATTER DISPENSER?
Quick pro tip I can offer you. Don’t have a fancy measured batter dispenser? Next time you finish off a bottle of ketchup, mustard, squeeze jelly, etc, don’t throw away the container. Wash it well. Then when you have your pancake or waffle batter mixed, just remove the top to the squeeze bottle, and pour the batter in. Pop the top back on. And now you’ve got an easy-squeeze bottle that lets you perfectly pour batter info waffle makers or on a frying pan. Best of all, you don’t have to use all of the batter at once. When you’re done making waffles, just close the cap, and stick the bottle in the fridge. It will usually stay good for 2-4 days, just don’t leave it at room temp for more than two hours at a time.
BACK TO MAKING THE WAFFLES….
The easiest way to “grease” the waffle maker is to simply do a quick spray of Pam on each hot plate before you start making them. If you want waffles that are soft on the outside, spray between each waffle made. If you like a golden brown, slightly crispy/crunchy texture to your waffles, you only need to use the cooking spray once. Stick to using silicone and similar spatulas (avoid using metal utensils) to remove the waffle when it’s finished. What’s terrific about the size of this waffle maker is that if you have a leftover waffle or two after eating, you can simply stick them in the fridge or freezer for later, and pop them into your toaster (something you can’t do with regular-sized waffle makers). Okay, now to the really cool part….
You can make the most amazing waffles with this thing using just canned cinnamon rolls. Without everyone having to wait forever for cinnamon rolls to be baked in the oven. Get a can of the Pillsbury cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing. Now you can use the icing as-is, but you can make it “pourable” by adding a few ingredients. Just whisk/stir the included cream cheese icing with a cup of powdered sugar, three tablespoons of milk, and a teaspoon of vanilla. Once it’s smooth, set it aside. When the waffle maker is hot and ready, stick one cinnamon roll directly in the center of it, and close the top firmly. What’s going to happen is that it will slowly rise, the top will slowly move up as well. Grab the “handle” for the top and firmly press it down a second time. What this does is not only flatten the roll to completely fit the circle of the waffle iron, but ensures that it stays flat and baked through. You can eyeball and it and tell when it’s made to your liking, I’ve found that it takes just slightly longer to make a cinnamon roll waffle than a regular waffle made with batter. Before each waffle is served, drizzle your cream cheese glaze over it. Not only do you have an amazing waffle with a taste like none other, but you don’t need any type of pancake or waffle batter on hand. I experimented and also made Pillsbury orange rolls with orange icing, they were fantastic. Just remember, the key to making perfectly round cinnamon roll waffles is to close the lid not once, but a second time as the roll starts to rise in your waffle maker.
There are plenty of things you can buy for ten bucks. But instead of spending ten bucks on fast food, or two iced coffees, invest it something that you’ll actually use often. And when you order one of these, you’ll definitely use it often. Breakfast waffles. Piping hot cinnamon roll waffles topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert. Fried chicken and waffle sandwiches. Your only limit is your imagination. You can do what I did, read plenty of reviews, and then decide to order it. Or you could just see for yourself how great it works, it’s only $10. Go ahead and add it to your shopping cart, you’ll be glad you did.

I’ve used this nearly everyday day since purchasing over a month ago. It heats up great but there is no temperature control. That doesn’t matter because it cooks the items perfectly then when the light shuts off you should remove the food. The blue plastic that covers the light has broken at this point but the light inside still works so I can tell when it’s time to take the food out. The grooves around the edge can be hard to clean but I have a small tool with a brush in the end to get in there. I’d say it isn’t easy to clean but it does work great for small waffles or making items into a waffle shape. I love it!

We bought this waffle iron on a whim because I have a thing for hearts. It arrived super fast and we were off making waffles in no time.
Once I got the hang of how much dough will fill it up without overflowing were were off to the races.
It heats up super fast and doesn’t take long to finish baking the waffles. I can control how crunchy I want them by simply leaving them in longer.
We love the small size (about the same size as eggo waffles). We plan on making a large batch beginning of the month and freezing them, so all we have to do is pop them in the toaster, just like the eggo waffles. Only now I can control what goes in them.
My husband and son like to use waffles for home made ice cream sandwiches. I even made some with chocolate chips and walnuts. They were delicious.
Highly recommend this waffle maker. If you are single, or just two people it certainly is enough and for us we live in a small apartment so storage is at a premium. The small size lets me leave it out on the counter, or even pop it in a drawer to hide it away.

As a home cook who spends at least 3 hours everyday in the kitchen and reads extensively on food, restaurants, and cuisine, you could say I’ve developed enough knowledge to be sceptical of anything that claims to bring you happiness for less than $15. Especially when professional chefs and reviewers recommend alternative products in the same category that are 10-30x the price, pointing to the other machines’ abilities including (a) making many waffles at once (b) getting a crispier result (notes below on how to do so with this machine!). However, I must say this product has been a spark of light to evolve my jaded ways though, I couldn’t be happier with it!
I first saw it on sale at Sur La Table for $15 but since I didn’t want to pay the costs of S&H to Canada, I decided to look for it elsewhere and saw it here on Amazon for $15. I try not to buy appliances no matter how big or small if I don’t see a use for them but I made a special exception with this one because it was so damn small, AND CUTE! Not to mention that the more expensive machines, while wonderful if you have the space for it in your kitchen, can’t make teeny tiny cute waffles like this. The size reminded me of the delicious waffles we get at a famous Belgian restaurant in Vancouver that serves theirs with sides of decadent sauces (dark chocolate, orange fig marmalade, white chocolate pistachio rose water) so I thought yes, I’m going to do it.
It heats up quickly (in a few minutes) and cooks the waffle in about 3-4 minutes (depending on your batter). As the professional pastry chef Stella Parks writes about in her articles about waffles, the key is to not fill the batter all the way to the edges so that you leave room for the batter to expand and get fluffy (instead of compress and get gloppy / soggy). The whipped egg whites many recipes suggests, Stella says is not necessary if you leave enough room and your batter has enough moisture from the liquids (which most basic recipes do from its milk or water) to activate the explosive reaction. While I wasn’t able to get it to crisp up in the waffle maker because the tiny guy couldn’t generate enough heat, I was able to assist the waffle in browning by adding a tiny pinch of baking soda (another trick of Stella’s) and finishing the mini waffles off in the oven at 350°F naked on the rack for 3-5 minutes just to crisp up. You could argue it’s a fuss, to make another step but the truth is if you need the machine more than once to make more than one set of waffles (no matter what machine you’re using), you need to keep the waffles warm anyways, so to me it’s not an extra step. That is if you even care about having crispy waffles. I know some people who like their waffles soft instead of crispy.
There isn’t a way to get around making one waffle at a time, except that for our meal, I make all the waffles first and put them in the oven so that they’re ready to go. To be honest, if you’re in such a rush when you cook and when you’re in the kitchen, there’s a bigger question you have to ask yourself: in the presence of an opportunity to learn and enjoy, through the path of mastery, why are you in such. a. damn. rush?! Like the Buddhist masters say, if you rush here, you probably rush there, you probably rush everywhere!
