Pros and ConsI’ve had this wine fridge for 3 days, and overall I’m happy with it. As far as functionality, everything works as it should. I set it to 55 degrees, and placed a separate thermometer inside the unit, to see if it’s actually maintaining the temp. The reading on that more reliable thermometer says it’s maintaining the fridge at 56.5, that works for me. I could always drop the temp setting a degree and be done with it. But I’m not that fussy.Another person reviewed the fridge and criticized it for constantly turning on for a minute or two. Mine does this too. About every 10 minutes, it runs for about 45 seconds to a minute. The other reviewer pondered if this was the result of inadequate insulation. It turns out, this steady cycling is normal. It’s really just the fan turning on to move the cool air through the fridge, thus keeping it evenly cool from top to bottom. The fridge sits in my office, so I hear it all day, but it’s not an issue. If it was in my kitchen, I wouldn’t even be aware that it cycles like this. In all other respects, it’s close to being silent.I do have a critique for the folks in charge of checking the units before they are packed. Another reviewer posted a picture of the door hinge being bent up so high, it wasn’t holding the door in place. Mine came the same way. I simply unscrewed the hinge from the top of the fridge, took two sets of plyers, and gently bent the hinge into proper shape. I reattached it, and it’s working just fine. Whoever was in charge of quality assurance that day, must have been at lunch when my fridge rolled off the assembly line. Now, I shouldn’t have to do this. It should come in perfect condition. But the world is an imperfect place. Correcting the hinge was much easier than the hassle of repacking the thing and figuring out how to get it back to Amazon. I chose the path of least resistance.

Nice fridgeThe first thing I want to mention and the reason I’m posting this review now… I bought this just a few days ago for $300, it’s $700 as I write this. It’s a 4 star fridge (so far) for $300. It’s not worth $700.It arrived quickly and in great condition. I let it sit for several hours as the instructions stated, plugged it in and found the controls easy to use. I set the temp at 45F and by the time I woke up this morning it was at that temp.I’m not sure of the noise level yet. I have it in my dining room and haven’t spent time in there since I plugged it in. But, I did hear it running when I walked into the room. I don’t think the noise will be an issue but I’ll update my review if I find that it is.Several other reviews have stated it doesn’t hold as many bottles of wine as it states. I found that to be true also. You have to leave 1 open spot on each rack. I figured that when I bought it since I read the reviews before hand so it’s not a problem for me.It’s a sharp looking fridge. It’s a winner and well worth $300. Don’t give it a second look if it’s still $700.

Quiet operationI like that it’s quiet. I followed the setup instructions and filed it with about 32 bottles of red wine. Plugged it in and in a few hours the temperature was 55°. Exactly what I set it to be. The unit has maintained that temperature and not fluctuated. I’m very pleased.

Great wine fridge especially given the cost and capacity.Needed to replace a unit that gave out. After much research and reading reviews, I decided to give this one a try. I was impressed that it was delivered in only a couple days from ordering. I’ve only had it for a week and it’s working fine maintaining the temperature it’s set to. I keep a thermometer inside the unit to confirm temp. Depending on the size of the wine bottles (some bottles are wider and longer than others) I currently have 29 bottles in the unit. The bottom storage area can accommodate much larger bottles including magnums. The sliding shelves can be removed to accommodate larger bottles thus reducing capacity. The compressor motor runs quietly. The temperature setting has a locking feature so the temp can’t be accidentally changed. It also has the ability to be locked with a key to keep unwanted access to the unit. My wife has a bad habit of grabbing a $100+ bottle of wine to serve to her girl friends when they stop over. I’m sure she will find the key one of these days.

Does not hold 34 bottlesOnly holds 26 bottles. Should hold 34. Had 2 conversations and 3 emails. I sent pictures of bottles as requested. Suppose to hold 5 bottles on each shelf. Only hold 4. They said bottles are probably too big. Should measure 3inches across bottom and less than 13 inches top to bottom. My bottle measure 3 inches across bottom and 12 1/2 inches top to bottom. No response from seller.

Great wine fridge!I was a little skeptical at first with the lack of reviews on this product but decided to buy anyway after investigating the features a little more. This is a great wine fridge! Its super quiet, very sleek and gets the job done. We have different size wine bottles and they all fit in this fridge. We followed all of the directions such as letting the fridge sit for 3 hours before plugging it in to let it settle after being shipped. This is a great buy if you don’t want to spend $500+ on a fridge.
