Wow I love this!!I absolutely love this! Once I started grinding my own beans and fell in love with a French press I just for the heck of it looked on Amazon to see if I could find a French press cup. I bought my first one and had mixed feelings. It fit in my car’s cup holder but there were other issues that I didn’t like. So I thought I have never been disappointed with Stanley products. What I love about this is that I’m able to add creme much easier from the top before pressing. Many of the other presses have a rod going down the middle that make that awkward. This keeps the coffee hot too which I love. The only drawback is that it doesn’t fit my vehicle’s cup holder but I don’t like drinking anything while driving. I can always buy an adapter for my cupholder so this doesn’t bother me. This does however fit into the panel on my door so I’m happy.

Old School Cool with the New School Twist!!!I needed something to help make better coffee while on business trips. Various instant coffees didn’t cut it. Hotel coffee varies GREATLY…and trying to make better coffee with the little drip coffee maker found in some hotels was a recipe for disaster more than I care to deal with.Poked around and found this gem. Looks like the old school Stanley thermos so walking into the plant with it still fits into place. Keep the java hot, if I didn’t drink in on the way in.Easy to use french press, yeah you get some grounds, but that comes with the territory. I’ve done both making it fresh in the morning and doing a cold brew to both work well. It does help having a couple cups around to decant the fresh brew into and clean the mug before pouring the coffee back in if you like to keep the grounds to a minimum. The times I ‘let it ride’ weren’t overly gritty, plus I didn’t have to wonder where the press basket was.Well worth the money.

Mmm yeah… That’s good coffee!used to have something similar to this quite a few years ago, lasted about 5 years and was one of my favorites. almost forgotten about that until I saw a photo of the thing come up in a memory online and was like… what the hell, I’ll get another one… then I found this one.Ground coffeeraw sugarMilk powdermix then plunge and off you go.Seriously good coffee, efficient for early starters needing a coffee with a strong kick with little time to make a proper espresso or Italian coffee.

It makes coffee you can drink.I like many Americans have an addiction to coffee. Unlike many Americans I enjoy good strong coffee. I usually bring a cup to work, but sometimes its not enough and this ugly addiction rears its head again around noon before my day is over. My work is very nice and enables its coffee addicted employees to nurse their habit at work by providing a Keurig and lots of little Individual cups of semi decent joy. The problem That I have is that apparently my needs extend beyond my fellow colleagues because I find K-Cups to be weak and insufficient to get my fix. Enter the coffee mug for pros… I now bring my coffee maker and my coffee to work with me. Now I can get a nice strong cup of awesome any time of the day I like, and I don’t have to cart around my own mr. coffee with me wherever I go. just dump a healthy portion of ground joy into the cup, fill it with hot water. and wait about 2-3 min before putting the plunger in. Then drink up. I love this thing. It is like my own personal enabler…

Excellent but needs to have replacement partsI love love this travel french press. It is heavy and bulky if you’re a minimalist, but for my daily work coffee that I throw together as I’m running late to work, it can’t be beat. Good volume for committed coffee drinkers, easy to dis- and re- assemble, easy to clean, leakproof, durable and convenient to carry, with no parts that need to be left behind after brewing. I gifted one to my BIL as well. However, after about a year of daily use, some tiny part must have fallen off the press/strainer part – there’s a larger-than-coffee-grounds hole in the center of the bottom strainer where I think a small rubber plug was. A gentle search for replacement parts for Stanley french press travel coffee mug didn’t show results for either the missing piece or for the full press basket. If not for that, this is a five star product.

Very goodYep, they’ve had some time to perfect things since 1913. It makes great coffee, which doesn’t get stale after hours of sitting below the filter, and it holds heat. You can take the lid right off and it maintains a nice mild warmth. The seals all seem thick and quality. The air hole opposite mouthpiece is nice to prevent steam. The aesthetics are on point. Amazing forest green and brushed aluminum. The lid can be a bit bulky especially how it has an extension which I don’t know the use for. It also squeaks a lot which is bad. The lid folds down perfectly with the clip. The carry clip is great. Wish the filter was metal, plastic isn’t healthy and you have to get in each crevice with paper towel to remove coffee grime or affects taste. If metal filter and they made lid no squeak and thinner would keep.

Best Travel French PressThis was exactly what I was looking for. Just add coffee or tea and hot water – that’s it! The drink stays hot for hours and taste great from the first sip to the last. Easy to clean too. The Travel Mug fit nicely in the cup holders in the Jeep. I would recommend this Stanley Travel Mug French press to anyone looking for a sturdy, traveling French press. You can also use it for cold drinks as well. Perfect!

Super Easy to use!Took this camping for the first time. Awesome is all I have to say, tested this first at home as you should with any new gear. Just needed to heat up some water and in a few minutes after pouring the water, COFFEE! Recommend that when storing the green screened press to store it upside down (screen side up) as you can (and will) pull the silicone seal out of place and risk damaging it. Also get the rubber seal wet prior to using it to depress the coffee. Trust me, it slides much better otherwise it can hang up see on the side and pull away from its seat. Then you have a mess! But thoroughly enjoyed using this French Press. Looking forward to many camping adventures with this coffee cup and maker in one! No nasty grounds at all in my coffee. Very solid build and easy to use. I made the coffee and put the lid on it, people asked me, “and then….what?”“I drink it!” Minds blown!
