Waste of moneyFirst use – This product kept some soup warm from 7am until 11:30am that was heated to boiling prior to pouring in the container.Second use – made Mac n cheese and immediately put into this container at 7am, was cold and inedible by 11:30am.I have handwashed it only. I wish I could return it BUT it is ineligible for returns.

RUSTBought this Thermos for my son’s lunches . He enjoys having soups for lunch. All went well until he left his thermos in his lunch box over the weekend, When I went to wash it out I noticed lots of rust in his thermos. We’ve always washed it only by hand. He’s only used it maybe a hand full of times within 10 days of purchase. Very disappointing. I had to call Amazon customer service because Bento-ware would not allow returns. Grateful Amazon was able to refund me.

hard to cleanI bought this because the cafeteria at my workplace sells soup in styrofoam cups and they would let me use a thermos like this with the same volume. My only complaint is that washing it out after usage is a problem because of the design of the inside of the top traps soup under the seal rings. I don’t want to keep puling the seal rings off & on so It’s difficult to clean.

This seems like a great ideaThis seems like a great idea. I did all the tricks people said to do, boiling water in it to warm up first etc. The food does not stay warm. Boiling Liquids… after 3 hrs luke warm… but they did better ,however, this is billed as a food jar, not just for soup. I have the 11oz one and now have to scramble before school to get a new one. It also smells after only using it to test a few times. Highly disappointed in this product.UPDATE: got the smell out by soaking in white vinegar. Be advised the warranty is voided if purchased from Amazon. That is what the company told me. 🙁

Perfect for kids lunchesMy son picked out this thermos so that he could pack some hot lunch to school. Easy to use, easy to wash, he just heats his food, places in the container and it’s still warm for him at lunch. Purchasing a second for his twin sister to do the same.
