So much better than generic refillsI’ve been using generic brand filter replacements for years now to save money. These were on sale so I bought them and I’ll never buy knock-offs again. These fit snuggly and the water flows quickly through the charcoal filter. The other filters dripped so slowly like there was a clog in them every time and they didn’t always fit snuggly letting unfiltered water dribble in.

Good valueI’m on my second filter of the pack. The first one seemed to work as well as the name brand one. It filtered slow like the other do. After several weeks of use, it became very slow so I changed it out. This second filter filters as fast as the water can pour into the tank which I feel isn’t filtering at all. My wife drinks the filtered water all the time and she says it tastes the same. Our city water has a chlorine smell and I don’t smell it after it runs through so it must be doing something. I read the other reviews and chose to buy anyway. I think all in all they are a with while buy.

Good filtersThese filters seem to work pretty well. I have no complaints about them. However, these are getting pricey seems like every time I order them the price has increased. Not happy about that!

Same as usualNot much else you can say. They work like they usually do. I change them every three months as directed, so I can’t speak to longevity. It is nice to get a four pack which is reasonably priced.

FilterGood filter system. Goes in a pitcher that you put in your fridge. Box says change every two months, but we normally do not change until the pitcher says to which is around every 6 months. Guess it all depends on how dirty your water is.

Work greatThese filters have definitely improved the taste of my water at home. I love them! They last long too! Make sure you soak them for 15 minutes in a class of water and empty the first 3 pitchers of water or you’ll have coal sediment in the water.

Works as intendedWorks as it should. I prefer to spend a little bit more to buy what came with my Brita originally instead of trying other brands.

Bought by mistakeBe careful which filter you order as each filter type is designed for the varying types of Brita pitchers, which I did not realize. They only fit the particular pitcher you have. Fortunately Amazon was nice enough to credit me back so I can order the Brita “Stream” filters as this item is listed as non-returnable.

Love these!!!!I love these! Great price 2 for $14.99. Only bad thing was when I got my first one, I popped it in the pitcher, without reading instructions, and starting filling the pitcher and water turned black. Absolutely was my fault, though. So please remember to rinse for at least 20-30 seconds. Then you have clear and delicious water. 💧

Better than the Long LastingI live across the road from the Potomac River. Our water has always tasted very chlorinated in this location, but was tolerable to drink from the tap. I prefer room temp water and am not picky, but my husband wants chilled water and turns his nose up on the tap, so not having a refrigerator dispenser, we’ve had a Brita pitcher for some time. From a promo years back, I’ve just been accustomed to using the long term filters from the beginning, and they’ve seemed to have done their purpose, even if I think it’s more of a placebo effect for hubby.Back in March suddenly one day our water was so badly chlorinated, it even smelled of bleach. We didn’t think much of it, but randomly listening to NPR a local DMV blurb said that areas where drinking water was sourced from the Potomac river were being maintained and with some sort of treatment, so water services would be disrupted in short intervals, and the taste of chlorine would be more noticeable but would be safe and temporary. Three months later it is still intolerable. My cats even have an aversion which is scary.Anyway, our Brita pitcher was barely touching the chlorine. It was making a small difference, but it was still bad. We’ve definitely definitely been drinking less water, and I change up my cat fountain filter more often and refill from our filtered pitcher to help them. Realizing it was probably time to change the filter anyway (do those light indicators work for anyone???) I took into consideration that perhaps the long lasting filters may not work as good as the regular. I mean, why have the two options of there wasn’t an advantage to the short term one?First off: Whoa. I had ZERO idea that a Brita could be filled so quickly. I thought that the obnoxious slow drip was just standard for being filtered. Wrong! I could actually finally fill the entire pitcher from empty without having to wait forever for the reservoir to empty, walking away and coming back in trips to the sink. Better yet? This quick filtering process actually does a substantially better job!I nearly cried just now when I poured a glass of chilled water for the first time from this standard filter. No chlorine! I can stomach water again. The convenience of refills and maintaining being healthy and hydrated will outweigh any costs of slightly more frequent replacement.
