When you live a busy life, disposable paper plates cut down clean-up time tremendously. Unfortunately, most of us have fallen victim to the common problem of dealing with thin, flimsy paper plates not being able to hold your food. Take the convenience of paper plates up a notch and increase their sturdiness by placing them on our Paper Plate Holders! Made of gorgeous natural bamboo, this set of 4 woven plates have a 9-inch diameter and can accommodate most standard size paper plates, measuring up to approximately 8-inches. The plates will fit tightly in the holders for a secure, dependable hold, and for easy warming and reheating of food, the holders are microwave-safe! Utilizing paper plate holders is a great way to put an end to the unneeded waste that comes from using multiple paper plates at once in an attempt to add support. Enjoy a full meal without worrying about it collapsing and making a mess when you support it with these helpful holders!

Woven bamboo plate holder–works–good value.I suppose these are made from woven strips of bamboo. I used my original bamboo plate holder until the bottom separated from the top. Fits my 8-1/2 inch diameter plate & it looks to me as if a 9 inch plate would fit. I downgrade it slightly in comparison to what I had before because the bamboo strips are slightly wider for the sides than the holder I had before which means they are less flexible and have a courser weave with more space between the strips. The bottom has narrower strips which means they are more flexible for a tighter weave. Still it works fine for what I want. There are some sharp ends if you press too hard. I recommend these plate holders for their purpose–to hold a plate, paper or otherwise, securely

Use paper plates without fear of the plate collapseingOld fashioned looking. Works good. Same ones I had as a kid 40 years ago. Saves your plate from dumping your food all over.

Great after some workRead a few reviews before I bought these since they looked a bit lighter in color and heft from the ones I grew up using, and sure enough. Most critically and to make these cheaper, they skipped a step that burns off all the small splinters and wisps. Before you get these, I highly recommend also picking up a butane kitchen lighter or something else able to provide a directed flame to make your job easier. If you live in the suburbs, also get a fireman or other professional to help. Everyone else, you’ll be fine doing this at your sink, stove, or outside. All you have to do is burn the splinters and whatnot away by running the flame back and forth over each surface of the holder. When you’re licking the flame close enough, it should be obvious where the trouble is. It’ll take some practice getting the speed and distance from the surface right, but the goal is to roast everything off while leaving the wicker lightly toasted to a medium to dark blonde. Easier said than done, so go nuts and don’t sweat the scorch marks. But if it’s that unsightly, char can be removed with course steel wool, a small wire brush, or scotch-brite, but it should also slowly wear away as you use the holders, so…… The flame will make the wicker slightly stronger and more resistant to moisture if done correctly over every surface to maximize the cell shrinking effect of the heat, but you’re just about to (or already did) spend about $10 on paper plate holders. Clearly we’re not going for perfection here.

No brainerI like using paper plates. One never has to wash plates. It’s way more convenient for me. Only one catch: paper can be flimsy. One day I remembered a trick my mom used when we were camping. Paper plate holders. Too bad they were plastic. I hate plastic ANYTHING. So does Mother Earth. So I looked on Amazon. I found these. Bamboo! No brainer. Now I buy the flimsiest paper plates I can find. So this purchase has already saved me money. One caveat: split bamboo can be sharp. If you are in the habit of sliding your hands across the bottoms of plates, you might get poked. Also, these can “shed”. You might have to pick up the odd piece of bamboo. Still a world better than plastic or food on the floor.

Had them almost a year now and they are still in great shape!I came on here looking to refer someone else to buy these because we bought them in August 2021 and they still are as sturdy and holding together as they were when we bought them. We use them almost daily! Certainly worth the money and they pay for themselves as we’re not using 2 paper plates to make them sturdy and not too hot so you burn your hand touching the plate!

Good Chew Toy for Small-Medium ParrotsMy small-medium foster Parrots love these as a chew toy – each is lasting for several weeks with Budgies and Conures, who love to destroy paper and light wood.I got a splinter from one, so I wouldn’t prefer them for their intended use.

Work great, the wicker is slightly pokey to fingersI was satisfied with the quality of these holders. We use them on a daily basis is our household. These have nice, flat bottoms and are not curved and wobbly like some products in this same price range. There are a few loose wicker ends that poke our fingers here and there but so far we haven’t gotten splinters. I was satisfied with the pretty good quality for the price. Just wish there weren’t some loose wicker ends that poke but not a dealbreaker.

Saves on washing dishesI bought these to support paper plates so I did not have to wash dishes. They do the job but I have had these in the past and they were sturdier and less expensive. These will have to make do.
