Just what I wanted and came as promised. The product said installs in 11 min. Not so much. It wasn’t horrible to install but luckily I have a great husband that is also a great handyman. I love it in the bathroom for my tooth brush, floss and toothpaste. I would highly recommend using this space which most people don’t realize it is even an option.

You’re going to need more screwsI’m a veteran DIYer, so I found these very simple to install. It’s not noted in the instructions, but you’re likely to have some interference with any knob screws extending through the drawer front. In my case, I had to carefully locate and drill holes though the plastic tray to accommodate those screw heads. Also, I had to buy a package of #8 x 5/8 inch wood screws to complete the installation. The package was ten screws short of what was necessary to install both drawer boxes. There are adjustment screws in the hinges to set the distance the drawer pulls open. You want it to pull open just far enough to give full access to the plastic box, no farther. At that point, the tension of the hinges is balanced so that the drawer will remain open when pulled open and doesn’t slam shut too hard when closed. You will need the enclosed foam bumpers, however.

hinge/spring too tightI have always wanted these kind of hidden trays. Had a handyman install them. The problem is the hinges are really hard to open and spring back quite strong. So I ended up not using them much as I anticipated.

Great idea!I never thought of the fake drawer fronts and making them usable, until my sister had something similar when she moved into a new house. We had to remodel our kitchen recently and I wanted to add the extra storage. I shopped around to find trays that were large enough. We have a wide sink base and most of the trays I found were way too small or at least I thought so. These were great. I was able to install them without trouble. The only thing that I don’t particularly like is how far the drawers drop open. They work well though and I am happy I found these trays. Also, they are not soft close! I am getting used to the soft close hinges on our new cabinets and forgot these weren’t.

Size Warning: 11-inch Tray needs 14.5-in opening!Although the dimensions for the 11-inch plastic tray itself are correct, the sink front opening must be at least 14.5 inches wide to fit both the tray and its two hinges. This isn’t mentioned in the Amazon description, on the package, or in the enclosed instructions. However, the tray, hinges, and instructions are very good, and if I had another 0.75 inches of space I think I would have been very happy with these drawers. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

Good quality, but box slightly misleadingProduct seems to be good quality, but there is no way it can be installed in 11 minutes and with just a screwdriver. It took me about 2 hours to install 2 of these. I pre-drilled holes for the screws to avoid cracking in the hard wood. A normal length screwdriver is too long to mount the panel screws, so a stubby screwdriver or small ratchet with Phillips bit is needed. Also, only minimal screws are provided to mount this. I added extra screws to provide more strength to the mounting brackets. I used 4 extra screws on each bracket. I used a tape measure to make brackets were mounted evenly on both sides before pre-drilling holes. Brackets can be adjusted with adjusting screws for the correct opening angle.

Great tray and hardware, but the hinge is extremely stiffGreat product, but the hinge is so stiff it’s difficult to open the door easily. A little overkill.
