Le Creuset salt and pepper mills combine classic form and modern technology with our iconic colors. The ceramic grinder is strong enough to crack peppercorns and corrosion-resistant for grinding salt. Adjust the grind setting with a turn of the knob – clockwise for a finer ground and counterclockwise for a coarser grind.

Great pepper grinderLe creuset is expensive and this item is a heavy duty resin or plastic not ceramic like most of their products. And that was great for me since I will be using it outdoors while barbecuing. The color is great just like the ceramic products and I’m gifting it to my cousin who is a barbecue fanatic! I would recommend this product!

Good quality salt grinderOur old one died after several years of use and this one takes its place nicely. Capacity is a little large than the previous one we had, which is nice.

Small Grind, Pretty MillThe mill itself is gorgeous and fits into my kitchen with pops of red and black throughout. BUT there is no way to adjust the grind, so your stuck with teeny tiny fine pepper grind. It takes double the time and twists to get the amount of pepper needed. And as I typically like a larger grind, will most likely get another pepper mill for daily use. Built well, cute, holds lots of pepper. So if you like fine grind this will be great. If not, skip it.

A little disappointed in the material choiceIt’s plastic!! Or Bakelite, but whatever you want to call it, call it cheap(er)! From Le Cruset I always expect more.Dont get me wrong, it’s nicer than almost anything on the market. It’s an adjustable screw to go from fine to coarse ground. For the money, not bad.

Pretty color and is the real thing! So pretty in my kitchen and matches my red Le Creuset pepper mill. I just with Le Creuset would work on the base of these so the salt and pepper wouldn’t easily fall out of the bottom.

It’s nothing specialIt’s okay. A bit underwhelming on grind output, takes a few more twists than it should. Made in China, not France. If it lasts many years I’ll conclude that it was a good quality purchase, but I can’t do that about a day after it’s arrived and Amazon start pestering for a premature review. It looks nice in black. I have a lot of Le Creuset pans and pots and these a magnificent. I think I’ve strayed into buying for the label with the grinder and I always think it’s tantamount to deception when a company markets it’s heritage country and then subs its manufacturing to one that’s known for being cheap.

Great quality. Colour doesn’t quite match ceramic range. The quality of the grinders is fantastic. I must have owned about a dozen salt and pepper mills over the years, and there are streets ahead of anything else.Incidentally, the salt and pepper grinders are identical apart from the S and P on the top. The grinders are the same. Why only four stars if I love them so much? Well, the colour of the plastic bodies is /slightly/ different to the supposedly matching ceramic Le Creuset items (jugs, mugs, etc). It’s similar, but not identical. And I’m such a fussy bugger that I think that warrants losing a star!
