Chocolate Cake Pops
Directions:
1. Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl. Add buttermilk, vegetable oil, egg and vanilla. Using a mixer, blend until smooth.
2. Add coffee and continue mixing until coffee is evenly incorporated into mixture.
3. Fill each cooking reservoir with about 1 tablespoon of batter.
4. Bake 4 to 5 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into a cake pop comes out clean.
5. Allow to cool and glaze or coat, as desired.
Makes About 6-1/2 Dozen Cake Pops
Tip: If you don’t have buttermilk on hand, pour 3/4 teaspoons lemon juice or vinegar into a glass measuring cup. Add milk to equal 1/4 cup. Allow to stand 5 to 10 minutes, then use in place of buttermilk in this recipe.

My daughter loves itI thought it was dumb but my son insisted on buying it for his twin sister on their 11th birthday. It’s so easy to use, they did it without me! I did finish it up for her both times but really I am impressed.

HelpfulThis worked perfectly but you don’t get to mash frosting into the baked cake. You just apply frosting externally to the cake balls.

No regrets great purchaseI was concerned this would be complicated or i would need a special recipe due to a review we saw on here but in the end there was nothing easier to use. Here is what we did, we got a box of cake mix ingredients needed were eggs water and oil, pluged in the machine so it had time to heat, and in a bowl mixed the ingredients, we thene put everything in an empty water bottle with a sport drink top to make it easier to pour, we sprayed a bit of oil in the molds of the machine and started filling them, 3 to 5 min later we opened it amd theye were perfectly cooked , however the first 3 i did had the time to expand by the time we filled the 6 others and closed the machine so there was some mix that got out of the mold, we just peeled of the extra and still had a ball, second time we put the mix in the machine faster and they came out even more perfect, took us about 30 min to cook a whole box of cake mix, by the time the next batch was ready the previous one was alrwady eaten, we were able to pile up the last 4 or 5 batches for a nice pic,Now the top part does not cook as much cause it takes time to expand and touch the heated mold, but if you want the cake to be a golden brown all around all you got to do is open the machine 2 minutes in spin the cake over and let cook with the top open for another 2 minutes. These cake balls are prety small i would say the size of a quarter.Personally we ate theme with no icing or anything almost like doughnut balls. We also tried sticking a peice of chocolate inside before closing the top part and it works great the chocolate fell the the center and the cake puffed up all around it.As for the cleaning nothing a small peice of damp paper towel cant fix just had a few drops of oil that leaked the back of the machine.Hope this helps ppl who are hesitating on buying this.

Works perfectThis is exactly what it says it is. It’s small. I used 1/2 of a Duncan Hines devils food, cake mix box directions but just stirred it. I used 1 T per cake pop. Cooked in 4 1/2 minutes. Perfect. If your’s isn’t working demand a new one. I literally took is out of the box. Read the directions. Made the mix. Plugged it in to heat approximately 4 minutes. I used a quart zip lock bag corner clipped off. I had a clothes pin to stop the leakage. There wasn’t enough to fool with it. I laid the bag on a plate. I set the cake pop cooker on my glass top stove. Sprayed the cooker. Fill the cake pop cooker and 4 1/2 minutes later the pops were done perfect. They popped out. Repeat. Made 45. Just the right amount for a desert. That is half a cake mix box. I live in Phoenix. It is way to hot to bake most days.

So much fun to useThis worked great! I used pancake batter and made pancake balls for breakfast on the go and it was fantastic. They cook perfectly and are easy to remove.

Easy and Fun… Recommend ! 👌Prepping the mix took longer than making the cake pops. They’re ready in 2 to 3 minutes max. ♥️

Pour mes recettes, mon temps de cuisson était de 6 à 8 minutes./ An amazing little machine, very easy tu use and fast cooking. I was delighted. I cooked mini cake and donut and the result was perfect. At first, you will have to adjust cooking time. For my recipes, I had to cook for 6 to 8 minutes.
