Edit: I returned the original maker for a replacement (though not received credit yet) and fired up the new bread maker. It worked as it was supposed to with the same recipe as in the past with a slightly reduced yeast measurement. All good for the moment.
I fired up the bread maker with a recipe that I’ve used in the past with a mixer. The dough had over-risen but the bread still turned out pretty good. I reduced the amount of yeast the second time and still the dough has risen too much. Still no biggie. Attempted another loaf with the same recipe with reduced yeast, no rising at all. Hmm, attempted another with larger amounts of yeast taking the amount back up to the same amount as in the first bake. Dough does not rise. Not sure if there should be some sort of heating going on to help the dough rise that no longer works or what. Kind of confused.
I’m tempted to return it and try again but I no longer have the box.

I love my little machine. All the features of the flashy name brand machine, at half the price!!! The non-stick pan is the best!!! The bread is delicious and makes excellent toast.
First time users might find the instruction booklet badly organized and confusing.

Easy to use bread machine, makes great bread. Loaf shape is weird, slices are over size (most bread machines are like that). Worst thing is the manual, the various functions are not well explained at all.

Absolutely amazing and super simple. I decided to buy a book as well, “The No-fuss bread machine cookbook” $6.95, made the first loaf and will never buy store bought again! Making my 2nd loaf now. I literally tried the first recipe, everyday white bread, many more to try and this makes it super easy!! Hope everyone enjoys it like we do!!

I think this is a good value for the money. My experience with it hasn’t been 100% perfect but still great overall.
Things I didn’t like —
It has a container where you add the ingredients and fit it into the bread maker. Do not let it soak in water. I did for a few hours, and it was already beginning to oxidize on the outer part. I was able to mostly get that off with a cloth, but from now on, I only get it wet while washing then immediately dry.
In the owner’s manual, it indicates beeping while it’s still in process is a bad thing. However, every single cycle I run it beeps 5 times. For example, in the basic bread cycle, 45 minutes into it, it will beep 5 times then move on. What I’ve learned from using this, beeping at one time in the process is normal, just check the LED display to make sure it’s not getting an error.
The recipe book may need edits. The basic bread recipe is completely awesome. You can make a great basic loaf of bread following the directions. The cake recipe is awful. All the recipes (except for the cake one) will tell you how many cups of flour.
The cake recipe calls for 8.8 oz. of flour, 6 eggs, 8 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp oil, 1 tsp flavoring essence, 1.3 tsp lemon juice, and 1 tsp yeast. I made the cake today. Just eyeballing that, the ratio of eggs to flour didn’t look right. Since it didn’t use cups, as in the other recipes, it threw me off a bit. I Googled it though and realized 8.8 oz. of flour is actually 1.92 cups of flour. I rounded it off to 2 cups. It still had too many eggs. It tasted like an egg cake and also wasn’t sweet enough. The machine baked it well but I think it’s just a bad recipe. I’m going to try using it for cake again, but definitely not their recipe.
I’m still happy with this bread maker. I have started baking all my own bread. I work 40 hrs. a week and if I tried to do that by scratch, I would never keep up with it. This is easy, you just put the ingredients in and you’re done – just take it out in about 3 hrs.
I haven’t tried the built in yogurt and jam maker that comes with it, so I can’t speak to that. But overall, I’m very happy I bought this machine and I wish I had gotten one sooner.

First off, the only reason I’m removing a single star is because this thing makes a RACKET when it’s kneading, rattling around on the counter, and the machinery sounds like it’s struggling a little, like the motor is only juuuuust barely strong enough to actually force its way through regular bread dough. I’ve only personally used one other bread machine, which was probably made in the 80s or maybe early 90s, but that one still seems a little… hardier, than this one. After using that one for the entire 2.5+ decades of my life, it still doesn’t sound like it struggles quite as much as this one does. By how hard it sounds like the Amazon one’s motor has to work, on literally step 1 of its entire, sole job, I’m a little worried that I’ll have to replace it sooner rather than later, but I’ve put it through at least, at LEAST, a good dozen, maybe dozen and a half loaves since I got it, and it hasn’t died yet (knock on wood). At least it was a very good price that seems suited to the quality, especially since, again, it IS doing what it needs to. Every once in a while the top of one of my loaves will sink weirdly, but I don’t think that’s the machine, I’m probably unknowingly doing something abusive to my yeast or not properly compensating for weather conditions or some other thing a Real Pro Baker would laugh and shame me for. RIP, aesthetically pleasing domed bread-top, we may never know what I’m doing to ruin you.
I only ever use my favorite white bread recipe that came pre-progammed into the aforementioned childhood bread machine, so I can’t speak for whatever this bread machine actually expects you to put in there, but when I put it on mode 1 for white bread, light crust, 2lb, same as the original machine, it makes it exactly the same.
TLDR this bread machine makes bread. bread good. it’s just a skosh louder than other machines and will probably die long before decades-old brand name ones that were made before planned obsolecense by trillion-dollar brands became the default. but if you’re on a bread machine budget and just want any working bread machine, it’ll definitely machine your bread.

Muy práctica, pero el tamaño es reducido y hace mucho ruido
