Turkey or chicken, pheasant or duck, beef or lamb, pork or venison–any poultry, meat, or game benefits from being basted from the inside out. With this tool, injecting a marinade is foolproof, easy, and quick, and the result is increased flavor and juiciness. The marinade goes into the syringe, and the syringe’s needle delivers it precisely where it’s needed, with two holes near the needle’s tip distributing a marinade in both directions–right and left–simultaneously. Made of stainless steel polished to a mirror finish, the injector is heavy, durable, and a first-rate instrument. It measures 10 inches long, with a 2-1/2-inch needle, and the needle unscrews for easy cleanup. –Fred Brack

No more Plastic InjectorsIf you are a Grillmaster you MUST get this injector. These are heavy and easy to use. The extra fluid that it can hold reduces injection time greatly. The large holes in the needle allow easy injection and the use of spices you would have to grind or omit with normal injectors. They come with an extra gasket and they are easy to dissassemble and clean. I would tell you to go ahead and buy three, but you go right ahead and buy them one at a time and you will soon throw away all of your plastic injectors. I bought one of those fancy pump injectors, I will never use it again. I can inject a turkey, a shoulder or a picnic ham in 5 mins! If there were 6 stars I would add more!

Good Quality InjectorThis all steel injector works very well compared to the plastic injectors found in stores. The 4 oz cylinder is generous enough to inject brine in small pieces of meat such as side pork and beef brisket. It also comes with spare seals. I wished there were a couple of improvements. The needle should be sharp enough to penetrate through thick skin of meats and to draw brine from the tip of the needle, rather from the side. The spare seals should be highly visible and labeled so it won’t be accidentially thrown out with the package.

Not the Injector I really wanted, but it will do.Would of given it 5 stars but I did not know that this is NOT a sharp point injector. Its rounded so makes it hard to penetrate the meat. Shame on me for not reading more and realize that there is ones out there with sharp point and not just round. I will still buy the new sharp pointed one. Still a great arsenal tool to inject the meat!

Unusual to wait like this with AmazonOrdered the Weston injector on 10/15 in hopes of using soon. It has been 5 days and the item is still preparing to ship and cannot be cancelled. This is very unusual for Amazon products. It happens occasionally with non-Amazon shippers. I order a vest amount of items from Amazon on a regular basis and will continue but disappointed on this one. I have no way online to get any updates and have no idea when it will ship???

It’s only OKIt is a nice sturdy injector, but I actually like the cheap plastic one that I got free with my marinade a little better. The tip on this one is not pointy enough so on some parts of the chicken you have to work to get it in. Also, one of the holes is a bit to far back so you have to get it deep enough for the marinade to stay in the meat or it will ooze out.

Bigger than I thought, needle not the bestThe unit arrived on time and as ordered. I was surprised at how large it was despite the accurate description. It’s overkill for my typical needs. My error there. However, the round-tip needle is difficult to use to penetrate whatever meat I’m BBQing. Also, the location of holes along the sides of the needle force one to use a marinade container that is tall and has a narrow diameter. I’d like to see the supplier offer other needle options with the basic injector.

What can I say?My adult son wants one just because it looks like a “cool contraption from the past.” Quality constructed, commercial grade, heavy gauge. Easy to assemble, use, and clean. I purchased this to make “Pabochon,” which is the tasty Puerto Rican spin on the traditional (dry/bland) turkey recipe where the turkey is injected in the style of roast pork (suckling or Lechon Asado). It is absolutely delicious and I can’t wait to make it. In the meantime, I’ll be experimenting with injecting roast chicken, especially in the breast. One tip: Inject under the skin, not through it – This will keep juices from seeping out. Happy Cooking!

Too dullSaw other reviews and didn’t believe. It’s weird but it’s really dull. Can see it being damaging to meat (esp turkey). Trying to buy add on syringes bc don’t want hassle of sending back. But may send back.

BigI actually order this for chicken and it doesn’t have a sharp tip which makes it very difficult to use so unless you are doing a huge roast or something large this is not the injector you should purchase! I would have returned it but my husband does smoked pork butt so ill just let him keep it in his BBQ screen room

Love it!Bought this several months ago. Love it! I’ve seen reviews critical of the rounded point and am amazed that someone would think an injector like this should be pointed and/or have a hole in the tip. There are four holes on the side that work wonderfully when injecting marinade into your meat. The injuctor goes into the meat easily despite the rounded point. I have cooked turkeys on my grill using this to inject marinade and have had nothing but wonderful results! Buy this Injector!
