Our reversible two-in-one ingot mold may be used to make flat stock or wire stock from scrap metal. Flat stock is 3″ long by 2″ wide by 1/8″ thick. Wire sizes are 3″ long by 2.5, 3.5, 4.5 and 6mm in diameter. The sturdy C-clamp holds both halves together tightly. Width of flat stock can be varied. Weighs 3-1/2 pounds.

I have bought 2 other ingots. All have had rectangular features of different sizes. But this one, if anyone that has had trouble melting and pouring ingot knows what I am talking about, then this ingot ought to help. First of all it offers round nail like castings that are very workable for drawing round wire. Secondly and most importantly, it uses the beautiful pull of gravity making the casting far more accurate in shape and you don’t end up with a clump of silver or whatever in one end of the ingot, while the other end is spread too thin. With all the fustration that I experienced in smelting and casting my metal scraps, this has been one ingot that made the task right every time. Now I am hoping that they would offer the square ingots as well.

It’s an ok mold. It does create some extra pieces that need to be cut. In other words, the ingots do not come out as clean as I would expect, but it’s not that bad either, I had one that was worse.

If ever you need a thing and you have that thing it is fantastic. However if you need a thing and don’t have the thing you need it makes for a bad time. So when I need a thing because I don’t have a thing I usually go to Amazon to procure that thing. And let me tell you, this is the greatest thing I have for casting next to my torch. I recommend this thing.

This is a good ingot mold. I have used it many times. One thing I never to do is to heat the clamp with a direct flame.

Very poor quality. Inside the mold is VERY rough
