Turtle Tips
- Apply to cool, dry trim
- Avoid application in direct sunlight
- Use a damp microfiber towel to wipe away any excess or application to unwanted areas
- It is recommended that you wear gloves to prevent pigments from staining skin
How To Apply
- Thoroughly clean and dry area to be restored
- Apply a small amount of product onto a foam applicator or microfiber towel
- Using a combination of back & forth, and circular motions work product into dulled plastics
- Let dry to the touch (3-5 minutes)
- A second application can be applied for added depth of color or to even out appearance of restoration

07 Ford Escape seems like it is made out of plastic trim. I experimented on a trim piece above license plate. Gotta wear gloves when applying. Almost want to tape off between trim and paint but it rubs off paint. I’m S FL and sun beats down and my trim has never looked better for as long ! It is no super simple wipe on and buff. It took a few good applications to ensure coverage. Let it dry, buff it and enjoy the fruits of your labor. But this stuff. I’ve been waiting for something like this for many years ! Only draw back is it can be messy.

Great product to restore “grey and faded” black trim to new-like. I’d use two coats and the proper applicator.This stuff comes out of the bottle very quick and BLACK. Does a great job though. Keep it off pieces you don’t want black.

I have tried few products on my Honda SUV to make the black claddings look black , and this product gave me the great resultsit is a bit messy to apply and yes you need the gloves it is not a wax , but more like inkif it splashes on the paint , it cleans up well w little vinegar on a cloth

Check the pictures (ignore the headlights, that upgrade is not related to this). My truck is 24 years old and all the black trim faded to light grey. Now it pretty much looks brand new. BE CAREFUL applying this stuff, it’s very messy. Wear black gloves and use painters tape if you’re worried about staining your paint. I was worried about this, but found that it can be cleaned from chrome surfaces relatively easily. Not sure about body paint though since I was very careful. Took me several hours to apply 2 coats to my front bumper area and trim above the wheels, but I was super careful and took my time.Overall, I’m pleased with the results. Good luck!

I applied 1 coat in the dark and the difference is amazing. I will say that I can tell that if I was extremelhy concerned with an even coat that you’ll want to take your time and be sure to apply two coats as directed in the instructions. I’ll liklely apply another coat the next time I wash it. This jeep is not a show pony, I take it out and use it to work around the property and it’s my daily drive. I’m not overly concerned with astetics, this trim restorer is excellent.WEAR GLOVES

Its not like Armor All at all. Its like a liquid shoe polish or liquid graphite. Hard to get off your hands. Impossible to get off clothes. Last a very long time on black trim

This product works very well on exterior black plastic. I used this on my 2007 Explorer, has been on a couple months, washed multiple times, still nice and black. It’s messy, wearing gloves help.

Works great, but as other reviewers said be sure to use your gloves! The product lasts extremely long and makes the exterior plastics look brand new. DO NOT get this on your skin however, or else you’re gonna regret every second of it.
