Ultraviolet rays are the single biggest contributor to vinyl and rubber deterioration. The windows actually magnify sunlight, accelerating discoloration, fading and cracking on the steering wheel, dash and seats. Wolfgang Vinyl & Rubber Protectant conditions and protects rubber and vinyl surfaces while powerful sunscreens block surface-drying UV rays. Vinyl and rubber surfaces remain supple and soft.
Other protectant products contain petroleum distillates as their shine agent. These sit atop the vinyl as an oily, greasy film that looks and feels unnatural. These petroleum products can actually speed up drying and cracking of the top layer of vinyl over time. Wolfang Vinyl & Rubber Protectant works differently.

It simply does not do what it professes to accomplish. It comes out in a very thin and innocuous white fluid; but, it does satisfy California’s oil import hype. It is very much like the current Klasse reviews. All the reviewers remember the old oil based variety from Germany and assume things become worse when they arrive at USA ports of entry. You can not buy either from Germany or from its San Francisco distributors. Simply go to “Car Guys” products until they age. They do meet import restrictions and they do work; but, for how long?

I bought this to try something new when I bought my 2021 Tundra. It cleans leaving a subtle sheen without a greasy look. Keeps my interior & exterior looking showroom quality. Long lasting. I do apply monthly to the interior but more often to the exterior due to living in the southern states for the UV protection. The advertisement lives up to its reputation. Highly recommend.
