I loved it so much with my now 5yo I bought another for the new baby. Good quality. Fun toys. However if baby likes to jump in place and you have hardwood floors maybe put a rug under it so they don’t bounce across the room in it.

We actually have 2 of these Exersaucers. We keep one at our house for the 3 days a week when our grandson stays with us and we recently gave one to our daughter and son-in-law to keep at their house.
Our version has the light up-musical chameleon while the newer version substitutes a camera type toy. The chameleon is definitely the favorite but that version may be impossible to find now. Don’t worry though, your infant will love the current version, too. Our grandson also likes sitting and jumping in a F-P Jumperoo for 15-20 minutes but the Exersaucer will entertain him for 30-45 minutes before he tires and needs a break.

Oh my gosh so much fun for baby! (And for momma & daddy to watch!) Love love love the colors and how many different activities there are. We were too old to use the baby gym mat, we are on the bouncer stage right now and are loving it. Baby (5 months) has figured out how to play the jungle music, how to move the birdie, how to bat at the butterflies, and his most favorite part, how to pull down and chew on the (soft!) dragonfly. I will say the way he swings it wildly around makes me nervous he’s going to poke his eye, but that’s an easy solution: monitor baby when they’re playing. If I need to use the exersaucer as a babysitter while I go do something, I find it entertaining and safe enough to walk away, and simple enough to remove the dragonfly for that time period (I’m sure it would be just fine to leave it on, just the exact eye-level of my child, and the way he likes to pull at this particular piece, I feel more at ease removing when he’s unsupervised. Doesn’t mean you will need to or feel the same). I am also excited about stage 3, I love multi-function toys and the fact that he won’t grow out of it quite as quickly. I think it will be entertaining enough a year or more down the line when he’s out of the bouncer and able to stand / walk around it in Stage 3.
One thing I will mention so you know to expect it, there are a gazillion parts to this thing. I had every intention to put it together myself, opened the box, and said no effing way. I waited until a quiet weekend afternoon when hubby wasn’t up to much, brought him a beer, and asked in my sweetest voice if he would put it together. He was not excited when he saw all the parts and used a few choice words, but the beer helped. Just expect it, and know it is adorable and totally worth watching baby bounce around and explore with so much delight once that dreadful hour of your life is over 🙂
I see that there are plenty of cheaper options half the price, and I am sure they work fine. I can’t comment further as I’ve never used one nor seen them in person, but I went for this model because I thought there were enough activities to keep him entertained. I didn’t see as many attachments on other bouncers. Also the conversion to toddler toy was a good selling point to really stretch my investment. I love it and have zero regrets about spending the extra $$$ on this cadillac if you will.

LO got this as an early Christmas present. DH put it together and he recommends a power screwdriver. He said without that, pushing down the springs while trying to manually tighten the screws would have been a two person job. I would suggest making sure not to over tighten when using the power drill. Set up was pretty quick — maybe 30-45 minutes? The toys sit in predetermined niches on the play table area and the extra play mat is separate.
LO received this when she was about 3.5 months. So far we have used the tummy time mat and the Excersaucer parts. Review on both:
* Play Mat & Overhanging Toys
– The mat has little bit of padding to it which is nice if you have hard floor surfaces
– The bases for the overhanging toys are not so good if your baby is rolling– they are light weight and move all directions if they are hit. This is true if your baby is strong enough to grab the butterflies and pull. LO did sit under it for a while, but not as interactive as her other two play mat. I would recommend this almost as a travel play mat, but not your primary one– not entertaining enough. We now use the mat for straight floor play and tummy time.
– The design is fun and interesting. LO tries to grab at the animal pattern.
* Excersaucer
– LO did not like her first sit in the excersaucer. I do not think she understood what to do or how the toys worked. I put it in her play routine to acclimate her to it. After about a week she would grab the dragonfly and try to reach for the butterflies.
– It took her another two weeks to learn how to swivel, but for some reason, she only swivels to the left (like Zoolander, lol). But she will probably learn the other way soon. Once she figured out to move, she swiveled around to each little station.
– The three level changes are easy to adjust. We had her on the second notch when we got it, but she didn’t understand that it was more than just a seat, so we had to lower it. Once we lowered it, she could stand and sit, then move the seat around. She is now on the second level and moves at ease. LO is about 26″ and she can stand flat footed on the level 2 notch.
– The toys are entertaining enough, but she does get bored with a longer sit. The iguana is motion activated and sometimes will go off if the baby moves too much. I put extra toys in the voids so she has ones she can pick up and put into her mouth.
– All the toys have an off switch. Buy batteries. They haven’t died yet (one month in), but three of the toys require them.
– The globe toy rotates. We didn’t know this at first, and LO would hit the same gorilla one over and over and over again. Now we turned the earth, and we get to hear the cat over and over again, lol.
– The monkeys are okay. LO has not figured out they can go to the other side. She just likes to hit them on the bottom. One note, I had one of the monkeys at the top, and then forgot. LO started batting at the other monkey at the bottom and the top monkey followed the track and squished her little fingers. It was my fault, but I could see once she learns how to slide them this might become an issue.
– The parrot on a tree is one of her favorites to spin, however, when she is facing away from the parrot and sometimes jumps back, it has come close to hitting her in the head. Make sure it is pointed to the sides when not playing with it.
– The dragonfly just sits there and she loves it. She bends it almost out of the base to try to get it into her mouth.
– The butterflies she cannot reach yet. Maybe when she gets taller.
– Make sure to take the cardboard collar off from around the blue bird. We did not know that it squeaked when depressed (we just found out this yesterday after owning it for a month).
Overall, I would recommend. I was worried at first since she did not warm up to it all that quickly, but now she happily plays in it for about 20 minutes. LO is still too young for the stand-up part, so I cannot review that.

Great for the munchkin! Pretty expensive but so worth it for the amount of time spent in it!

It has so many attachments and she can turn all the way around. As far as bouncing…she doesn’t do it often as it is so noisy!

My daughter LOVES this thing. She screams and giggles (shes 6 months) and just can’t get enough of it.
A bit of a pain to assemble, but it’s a lot going on AND it’s for 3 stages of life, so its assumed to be a little irritating for being worth the value.
Was trying to decide if she would like a jumper, but with this she really doesnt need one! It jumps a little bit when she does, so its wonderful.

Compared to other similar items, this one has so many more toys! The entire circle is chock full of toys whereas the other ones from Skip Hop and bigger brands look sparse. Love the jungle theme and the globe plays songs from Africa, India and South America. That said, be prepared for a major set up. There are so many pieces and it took me over an hour to assemble it all. It wasn’t difficult; you really just need to commit to doing each step based on the instruction manual. But it does take time and patience. The legs were also hard to jam in—I had to get my husband to do that part. Also the seat is a flimsy piece of fabric—it’s holding up well and my baby is big—but the other brands’ seats are a padded fabric and seemed much sturdier.

Good quality, easy to clean. My grandson loves it!
