I got this so I could watch anyone I am pulling with my boat. The whole thing is sturdy and well constructed. It isn’t actually a glass mirror material but rather a very smooth piece of reflective metal. I like that since it won’t break if it gets hit. It holds onto the rim of my driver window very well and doesn’t vibrate or move position without my control. The two downsides are the size as well as the size of what is being reflected. The mirror dimensions are on the listing so I think that is fine but if I were to buy another one I would get a larger mirror. The main disadvantage is the size of the reflection. My tuner or skier or wakeboarder are all so small in the reflection. It seems more like a side mirror on a car than the main rear view mirror where items appear smaller in those side mirrors than they do on that main rear view mirror. I find myself turning around almost just as much since the person is small enough I can’t read their hand signals in the mirror.

The mirror is built strong, great adjustable resistance pivot. Solid. I’m disappointed in the image quality. Because it uses chrome plating without glass there’s a orange peel effect that slightly distorts the view.I’ll leave it in my boat for now but will be looking for one incorporating glass.

I liked this very much but it did not fit anywhere on my boat. Could not get it angled correctly from any spot.

Worked great, was concerned at first that it was just a polished surface and would not be able to see any thing, but it actually worked real nice, folds down also, so the full cover can be put on without it interfering with mirror.

I like the fact that is made of metal. What I don’t like about it is that it doesn’t open up wide enough to fit over the windshield of my 94 bayliner capri. I fabricated a larger piece that would. The mirror socket itself is able to tighten down with two screws on the back side to secure a particular position. The field of view is adequate. I believe the clarity could be a bit better.Decent product but room for improvement. The low price helps offset this.

This mirror arrived fast and seems to be prefect for my needs. Looking forward to testing it on the water, but it fit my windshield frame perfectly! (94 Four Winns 190 Horizon)It can be mounted either on the outside or inside the boat windshield. Above it will give you a better view, but may hinder a trailering or mooring cover installation. Below is still a great view due to the 180° wide viewing angle and you can leave it installed. Would also work great installing it on the passenger side!Hope the pictures help anyone else considering purchasing this mirror.

I was looking for a all metal mirror (which is this) for my 66 evinrude rogue because I thought plastic mirrors looked cheap. This was perfect for the price and I was surprised how durable it was. The only problem was that the metal clip for the mirror was to small for my windshield so I ended up having to bolt it on directly. other then that, this is a great mirror for the price! I also purchased a used-like new product and it looked like it was brand new

Small but mighty. Mirror seems like a quality product & heavy weight for a tiny object. Good product for the $. Will have to see how it fairs weather/water on the boat. Would buy again.
