All my amplifiers get a few fans. They just lay on top. Any air that reduces sink heat is a longevity reward.Regardless of forcing air in or out…moving circulation is the goal.Quiet and effective. They can be connected to a temp switch if you wish?

So, funny story. I installed three of these as replacements in a wine fridge I got off craigslist. The fridge made less noise with the new fans and I thought, “great, what a bargain.” Then 35 days went by and the fridge started sounding like a lawnmower and was loud enough I didn’t want to be in the same office with it. I bought Noctua fans at $19 a piece to replace these and left an irritated review. When I opened up the fridge, however, it turned out that the noise was not coming from the back side fans that drive heat away, but from the internal fans that try to move cold air around the wine bottles. I had grown a block of ice on one of my peltier coolers and the blades of the fan were rubbing up against it like a baseball card in a bike spoke. It had only sounded like the rear fans were the problem because you could hear the sound loudest out the back of the fridge. Removing the ice and shifting bottles around solved my problem. I am leaving a middle-of-the-road review for what seem like middle quality fans to overwrite my original, mistakenly unfair review. (I did install the noctua fans anyway since I had the fridge apart.)

Great fan. Totally silent. Beautiful little fan I am so glad I found it. Very nice! My UPS system had a fan that was not working so I replaced both fans with these. I expect these fans to last for years. Totally quiet and I can’t hear them running at all but a flashlight shows me that they are. Great seller found the fans I needed for my system.

I needed to replace a fan on the back of a wine fridge. NewAir had their own branded da for $20 plus shipping, but after researching the specs, o noticed that these would fit. I took the risk since Amazon would have allowed me to return them if they had not been the right size. But they fit perfectly. They were easy to install and run smoothly and quietly.

I’m using these for fans to cool down my Texas Star DX 1200 12 gauge amp. it’s a lot quieter than the first fans I installed that were used for a computer server that were Extremely Loud. these fans are much easier on the ears.

Not a bad fan. Tried several others, this was the lowest noise level. Works well. Fits well. Price good. Worthy of it purchase.
