Like many reviews have mentioned there seems to be a leak at the bottom of the unit where the downspout attaches to drain into the sink. Didn’t notice it at first until I realized there was a huge puddle under the drying rack after putting dishes on it. For me it’s not the worst thing since I usually keep my dish drying racks on a towel and change it out every few days anyways but for others this may be an issue. I took the unit apart and snapped it back together thinking maybe I didn’t have it clicked all the way in but it still appears to leak.
Outside of the leaking issue this unit works great. I am a huge fan of this company and have quite a few products from them and they always seem to add space saving, functionality and design into their products which is great. The rack is large enough to hold a good amount of dishes and the included silverware container works great as well.
One thing I have noticed is that over time the dish drying rack will start to look gross if not cleaned itself. I have found just spraying with dawn power wash and giving it a good scrub then leaving on a towel to dry works wonders once a week or once every other week to help it look new and ready to use.
Great product overall just wish it didn’t leak at the bottom.

Standing too low, not high enough for water to drain into the sink

Love several features of this important kitchen tool. Size. Appearance. Cost. All great. The but comes in with cleaning the flat black drying section. Mineral deposits can build up and the next thing you know scrubbing is involved. The collapsable design is great.

Love it!

I like the fact that it expands but it drying takes a while with cups to dry. Design is good but the draining could be better.

I have purchased a number of Joseph Joseph products over the years and have usually been impressed with their quality and innovation. Whilst this is a good looking and superficially useful item (we don’t have a draining board) there is a flaw that renders it useless. I read a number of reviews mentioning that the unit leaks. Despite this I bought one hoping I would be lucky, unfortunately though it leaked from first use. It is not obvious why it does this but water leaked from the drain hole from day 1. This wasn’t something I could live with so it was returned (Amazon refunded the payment with no issues).

All the dish draining boards I’ve had over the years…wish I had had this one years ago….has a drainage reservoir that feeds to a spout straight back into sink…avoiding that nasty moisture and grime build up…it folds into two different sizes based on how much you are washing…cleans up very nice and nice holder for sharp knifes…five stars …would very much recommend.

Great product to look and in theory should be a great product. However it leaks water when extended. We have resorted to putting silicon under the drop hole to stop the leak and stop it from ruining our work top! We paid £50 for this and it’s really not lived up to our expectations. A basic £10 rack would be easier and less stressful.
