Best coffee that’s ever been made in my house. It’s super hot, has a “bold” feature and is ready before I wake up every day. I love that I don’t have to pull the entire machine out to dump the water in (although my hubby still does out of habit) and for the first time in my life, I am able to pour from a carafe without making a mess 🤣. Little overboard on the packing, but I can’t complain! It all arrived in perfect condition. I love that I can get a replacement carafe instead on a whole new machine too! Easy to clean. The top opens two ways and I love the monthly reminder to make sure the inside has been cleaned.

the coffee maker has a defect, when you put water to line 10 on glass pitcher, it dont stop till it has reached 11 on glass, so i filled it to 12, and it wants to run over to very top.
the defect is dont put it at a line, or it will run over, that go for line 6 also, if u put it on line 6 with water, it will keep running till it gets to 7.
now the good part, it heats perfect, makes perfect coffee or tea, if u want to make tea.
have not used it yet enough to clean, now i wish i had got the one with alexa , but it would not be right to send it back, even with the Defect UP DATE ONE 3 DAYS LATER. Filling the coffee maker to the 8 mark line, lets see if it stops there. , finishing the up datem water temp was 173, and yes it stoped at the 8 mark line, the secret is . dont go by the line on coffee glass container, go by THE LINES ON COFFEE MAKER ON SIDE of coffee maker, i now give it a 5 star, if i could i would give it a 6 star.

I saw the reviews about the unit leaking but took a chance since this item had the options I liked. Filled it up and leaked all over the counter. Took another chance and ordered a replacement and its been great!!

This is our fourth Hamilton beach coffee maker in 10 years. The other three quit working for various reasons. On one, the hot plate went out; on another, the display was steamed over unreadable and also became very loud in perking. The unreadable clock unit still works and serves as our backup.
The new model: a lot of people complained about past models and the case of the dribbling carafe. Even more complained about the coffee not being very hot once perked. Well, great news for you: you got both your wishes.
This carafe pours perfectly and easily. As for the warming plate, get ready. It has one temperature: scalding hot, so easy with the first sips. This is a tweak that doesn’t help and makes little sense. You need at least a high and a medium.
Making less sense are the 3 levels of brew strength option. Does anyone need this, really? Why would you put your expensive fresh ground coffee in it and set it for “weak” or “light”?
Usually one would….wait for it…USE LESS COFFEE.
This model is quieter than all others, perking.
In another odd add, there is a way to pour the water in through the front of the machine in addition to the back. Ok, fine, but why can one only read the water level from the left-hand side? We need the water level display on both sides because of where it sits.
The program clock is a little quirky, but simple once you see how it works. It’s just slightly different than, say, an alarm clock.
I only illustrate these things to tell you about the not great, but also not deal breaking issues that we’ve had, and new ones they’ve added with these machines.
We still like them very much. We keep buying them. They make great coffee, and this particular model looks very sleek. It really is beautiful—they’ve done a great job with the new design.
They’ve all been around $40-$50, so over 10 years we have still spent less than we spent on one Krups coffee maker which we used to buy for the previous 20 years.

This product has lived up to numerous positive reviews. The front-access design allows easy access to the water reservoir and brew basket. This design has virtually eliminated concerns regarding inadvertent spills while attempting to fill the brew basket with new scoops of coffee. The three brew settings: Regular, Bold, 1 – 4 Cups are distinctly different settings and each of the three settings appear to have a direct impact on the overall very good taste of the coffee. So far, this machine has been easy to use and maintain at all times. I look forward to the enjoyment of consistent, good tasting coffee at the start of each day.

Good coffee maker. Thankfully no leaking and nothing wrong with it that I can see (at the moment). Brews fairly quickly, stays hot long enough for me to enjoy a few cups. I subtracted a star because my biggest complaint is how SHORT THE CHORD IS. Come on, Hamilton Beach: not everyone lives in a kitchen with extremely accessible outlets. It’s almost like they WANT you to have to place it directly in front of the outlet, because the chord is just /that/ short. You’ve been warned!

I have drooled over the prospects of this coffeemaker actually doing what it says…as a low-end usual buyer, it was double the price I normally pay, but IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY! The engineer got it perfect when they designed it. Works efficiently-no leaks, quietly-you don’t even hear it-no loud gurgles, and the ease-so much easier than having to drag it out on the counter the fill for coffee and water. If you are on the fence, RUN don’t walk, get one today!

Update: I reached out to Hamilton Beach with my complaint and have received a new replacement at no cost. So far so good with the warming plate not getting ruined.
Coffee stays hot, easy to program. My issues have been that the pot is tough to get onto the hot plate. The plates coating starting wearing off pretty quickly and has now stained the pot. I replaced a Hamilton Beach coffee pot that I had for years. Not sure I would buy this again even though it has many positives.

My husband and I both really like this coffee maker. It makes much hotter coffee than our previous coffee maker did. It’s easy to fill. It looks good. It does not come with a permanent cone filter so I recommend if you don’t like using the paper filters to purchase a permanent basket filter along with the coffee maker.

I bought this Hamilton Beach Programmable coffee maker to replace one that I had for about 10 years. It was also a Hamilton Beach Programmable. However, the older one was not a true under the cabinet. I had to move it out to add water and then turn it around to pour the water into the receptacle. When it became time to replace it, I was thrilled to see that they changed the design. It now sits under my cabinet and I can add the coffee and water without disturbing my counter. Makes a great cup of coffee with brewing options. I love the fact that I can set it to start brewing in the morning as I’m walking my Greyhound. I have a great tasting, hot cup of coffee upon our return home.
