Works as advertised! I wish it was a little bigger on the base so it would sit on the camp stove a bit better. Makes great coffee

Unfortunately my example arrived with a damaged box. Inside the lid was bent and parts missing. I’m pleased to say that the returns process worked but be sure to print the despatch documents three times (not the 2 stated in the instructions) or the courier will not accept them.

I like it because if I want to take it out car camping or fishing and have it on a open fire I can do it then use it back in the house so big thumbs up from me .

Well this was unexpected. The viewing knob completely melted into the kettle while bouling water for hot cocoa.

This was super easy to make coffee in but the actual act of making coffee over an open fire takes some finesse! Super durable and easy to see through the glass knob!

I just got this less than a week ago and the lid detached from the hinge strap after just a couple uses. This seems to be a common problem with this percolator. It appears very little metal glue was used and it just fell off. Makes me wonder if the handle will eventually fall off too especially when putting this thing over a fire. I like Stanley products and wish I could give this one a higher rating but could not do it. On a positive note I actually prefer the lid to be detachable – it makes it much easier when washing and rinsing out the thing. I don’t think I’ll ever lose the lid anyway even when camping. I just cut the flopping metal ring off the hinge for a cleaner look.

I’ve used this percolator a dozen times or so now and love it! I’m glad I was able to find a non aluminum one because weight wasn’t too important but I’m not a big fan of aluminum anyway.
So I’ve been using this on a canister gas camp stove and it stays right where it should, percolates just fine and cleans up easily enough.
Only thing I’m concerned about long term is the metal isn’t quite rolled evenly at the bottom of the boiler tube. It doesn’t seem to affect the coffee but it might be a durability concern in the future. Otherwise this thing is built like a tank.

I’ll start by saying I’m very happy with the product, bought it for a camping trip and have used it a few times already and here are a few comments and things I liked:
– The result is a very nice coffee.
– I used it on my regular kitchen stove and using a small camping butane stove, and in both cases worked perfectly.
– The process is relatively fast, I used it for a group of 10, and with two or three rounds of coffee making everyone had more than enough coffee with a few folks drinking more than once.
– Smart design. It is quite easy to use and it’s not messy at all, much better than using normal coffee filters and a funnel.
– With the small camping stove, the handle didn’t get hot, but in case it gets hot the silicon grip is a very good touch for safety.
– Material seems to be good quality and design feels sturdy.
– Finally, as a side note not related to the product itself but Amazon, this is the first time I’ve bought a product from Amazon Warehouse and the experience was very positive overall, the item came repackaged as indicated but in perfect condition.
Overall I’m really pleased with my purchase in terms of the product and the customer experience with Amazon warehouse.

I love everything about this little guy. I use it daily to make strong, delicious coffee. I’d never used a percolator before. I’ve tried regular coffee makers, French press, & pour over. I use half the amount of coffee as with any of those methods & achieve stronger, more flavorful coffee. This also makes wonderful Crio Bru (ground cacao brewed like coffee) & excellent black sesame “tea” (black sesame powder from the Asian market)
It’s lightweight, easy to clean, & the silicone handle comes off for use over open flame! It’s never left my kitchen & rarely leaves the stovetop, but awesome to have that option!
