ReviewBeen using for a couple months now. It makes a HOT cup of coffee. Can fit an average Kcup or it comes with a small basket and top if you want to add grounds. Very sleek and doesn’t take up much counter space.What I wish was different- I have a travel mug that is 22 Oz. The machine only allows 3 cup size option to pick from. 8, 10 and 12oz, so i have to wait for the first brew to finish, and then select another cycle to fill. DO NOT fill the water reservoir other than the exact amount you want to fill for one cup. The maker will continue to run until the water is gone, flooding everywhere. As hot as it makes coffee, definitely don’t want to have to clean that mess and risk a burn.I like it, works for now, but I don’t think I would purchase again due to the dislikes.

Very slim and does not take up a lot of spaceReceived the machine yesterday and had it cleaned and setup in less than 30 minutes and is very easy to use. It has four control buttons, 8oz, 10oz, 12oz and a “bold” button. Machine has a 30 minute inactive sleep mode and will then shut down after 2 hours of inactivity. It started up quick this morning and did not take long to brew.There is one issue I am trying to work out. I used a reusable K-Cup in my old Keurig and it worked great. The reusable K-Cup for the Keurig does not work with this machine. Although it fits in in the machine the lid will not close and lock into place. This machine does come with a reusable cup of it’s own but it is much different.It has two pieces, the lid and the basket. The lid has a little metal piece that needs to slide into the inside rim of the cup and then the handle locks into place. Early in the morning it is really hard to see the slot the metal piece needs to go in.If you fill the basket to much and if the handle does not lock into place then the machine drips coffee like crazy. The water will actually drip from the end of handle as it sticks out of the machine. This is what I have to work on, not overfilling the basket and making sure the handle can lock onto the cup so the machine does not leak.If I can figure out how to stop it from leaking then I will be happy with the purchase. It does not take up a lot of space on the counter, which is what I was looking for.

Makes great coffeeIn the past I have been disappointed with various single serve coffee makers and the quality of the coffee was often bland.l, even when using my own coffee. However, I have been pleased with the richness of my own coffee in the included coffee pod. I also bought this brand because the Instant brand has great service. I dropped the water tank when I was unboxing the unit and it cracked. I reached out to them and they replaced it free if charge even though I told them it was my fault.Just one other note. One reviewer or blogger mentioned overfilling the pod. I did that and a small amount of water dropped out the front of the unit along the handle of the pod. So I would recommend not doing that LOL.

Definitely recommendDon’t get me wrong, I LOVE this coffee maker. I just have a couple of “I wish it didn’t do that” issue. When the coffee is brewing into a short (8-10 oz) mug, the coffee splashes out and makes a little bit of a mess. I put a paper towel under the mug and extending out to catch the splashes. Definitely don’t overfill the reusable filter basket it comes with. If you so, you’ll have another mess. Easy enough to deal with…just don’t overfill. I ended up getting a different reusable k-cup and paper filters. Easier to clean up and cleaner cup of coffee. Oh, and none of my 20 ounce stainless steel tumblers fit…too tall.

would give 5 stars but was hoping to have a single serve for a 14oz travel mugThought it was a bit pricey for what it does…was hoping to accomodate a 14oz travel mug. And the coffee doesn’t completely stop after beep, a few dribbles which not a big deal but it’s in my office so will have to keep some napkins around.But what I do like about it is the reservoir size and the maker is compact. Just got it so not had to clean except for dribbles in the tray.

Perfect one cup makerFell in love with this machine. Originally purchased it to use up a large box of kcups someone gave me (did not want a keurig) but ended up using the full cup method after. This has now replaced my old Hamilton beach one cup. I like the bold settings, the chime at the end and the ability to clean the water reservoir. Overall a perfect little machine. I do like super strong coffee, so I have to use the 8oz and bold setting for the refillable filter

Negative reviews don’t make sense…It’s great!This thing has been great…it’s fast and really just a great little unit. I don’t have issues with the reservoir lid, it does go on a little funky but doesn’t create issues and doesn’t fall in as some reviews say…it does not brew super hot coffee so if you want it scorching hot like some units this doesn’t do that. Overall we are thinking about buying another for our guest room.

Quality is very good, makes a good cup of coffee.The design and build quality are both very good. Was impressed and surprised this comes from the people who make the Instant Pot. Comes with a reusable grounds basket which seems to be very efficient, have noticed basically no grounds. Coffee comes out very hot, hotter than a Keurig. Only gripes, which may not be avoided, is the splatter if you get the white, means the machine itself needs wiped down frequently. Also, the tank being on the back is difficult to access if you have it under a cabinet or something etc.

Amazing!This Instant coffee maker is amazing! I have gone through two Keurigs over the last two years and neither is comparable to this machine in both quality and taste.I ordered this machine to replace my broken Keurig as it was on special ($79; Normally $99, much cheaper than the $135 price tag in other places) and liked the quality of the Instant brand products I have purchased in the past. I assumed if I disliked it, Amazon has been great about returns in the past. Needless to say, I will not be returning this item. It is quiet and barely makes noise compared to its Keurig counterpart. I have tried both K cups and it’s included mini scoop for ground coffee, both options are spectacular. The Bold setting adds more dimensions of flavour. The touch screen responds well and is pretty quick to go from loading to brewing. It has a tiny jingle when the brewing is done, nothing too unpleasant or irritating… I rather like it myself.If you are debating this Instant product over a Keurig, you will thank yourself for choosing this option. I have had the very coffee I brew at the coffee shop, and it was never quite there when brewed with my Keurig. However, this Instant coffee maker tasted exactly like the coffee shop version.The sizing is about the same size as a mini Keurig but slightly smaller. The design is sleek and easy to clean, the removable tray comes off with ease. It has a removable water tank that’s easy to clean if needed. ( Holds about 40 oz)All in all, I’m so happy I decided to go with this option and can’t wait to see how well it goes over time.Pros:Quick BrewCan use K Cup or Your own Ground Coffee with included scoop pod.Sleek designTouch screenSize options (8,10,12 ounces)Bold optionEasy to remove and fill tank ( can be filled separately or whilst in the machine)Cons:No indication of water level. I have no issue with this as my Keurig is per cup but I understand others have different models and may not have this experience.Overflow, I have not had this issue more than once but understand some people have. I am aware you can remove the tray if that is a problem and it lessens this a bit, but if I could be honest, I would recommend a tall and wider cup. This issue for me only presented on smaller tea cup sized mug, so I grabbed my larger coffee mug and this issue was no longer an issue. There is spray (as to empty the pod of all fluid) which can be a bit untidy but Keurig also manages to produce this result. The difference between the two is I rarely have a leaky pod once I remove it from the machine. Makes it easier to disassemble for recycling.Possible issues with touch censor but this is nothing I have dealt with yet, but know some may prefer the mechanical option as it may be easier.Again, this is worth a chance to be considered especially being you can return the item if you dislike it. I found the coffee from this Instant Solo is preferred by myself and my guests who use it. I say the bold option was the biggest game changer.

This is the very best coffee maker out there!!My wife just purchased an Instant Solo Coffee Maker for my birthday. I never thought that I could be so excited over a simple cup of coffee. The taste is out of this world! WOW! What a difference when compared to the Mr Coffee Maker! To all the coffee drinkers out there, you just have to give this a try. O man! Now, instead of reheating my coffee from the morning, I simply get a fresh cup of coffee everytime I want coffee. No more reheating coffee. The Instant Solo Coffee Maker is absolutely the best coffee maker out there and the water reservoir is removable so you can simply clean it. We utilized a small can to raise my cup up closer to the spout to eliminate the small splashing. Welcome to the new age of coffee drinkers. Thank you!! Thank you!!
