GoodThis is a good option for those who only want to make a single cup of coffee or hot cocoa at a time and only want to store the k-cup pods and not canisters of coffee or cocoa. This is very easy to use. Basically, there is a water container that you fill and put on the back of the unit. You put a pod in the top and then you can select to have it dispense 8, 10, or 12 ounces of water (depending on how strong you want your drink and the size of the cup you are using). There is also a button to have it make a stronger brew, which I believe waters down the contents of the cup less. This is perfect for a single person, someone who has limited space, etc. The only thing I have discovered is that when it initially starts dispensing it can kinda spray the stream a bit, so you definitely need to make sure your mug is exactly centered under the spout, otherwise you will end up with some dripping down the outside of the mug. Also, I have found it helpful that after every few uses with a k-cup pod, do just a run to have it dispense hot water (so run it without a k-cup pod in it). That will allow it to clean the nozzle without doing a full descaling cycle which is needed every few months. Finally, the water canister has to be aligned just right in order for the unit to operate, so you may have to reposition it a couple of times to get the thing to run. So, if you are in the market for a k-cup coffee maker, do not need a bunch of bells and whistles, and do not want to spend a fortune, this is a good option.

Descale confusion solvedSo after much frustration with the descale light as many of the other reviewers (and some wine 😉 ), I figured out how to get the descale light to go off.Note: I did not have any clogs in my machine and it was still brewing coffee with the light on, so I don’t know how to solve a clogged/descale issue.1. Fill the tank with the 1:1 ratio of descale solution as mentioned everywhere on the internet and bottle directions2. place a large mug under the keurig (also mentioned everywhere)3. PRESS THE POWER BUTTON TO MAKE SURE THE MACHINE IS OFF4. After the machine is OFF and without turning it back on, press and hold the 8 oz and 12 oz buttons at the same time.5. Wait for the descaler light and the 12 oz button light to start flashing.6. Press the 12 oz button to start descaling.7. Empty the mug after each fill.8. Just keep hitting the 12 oz button, filling the tank with water, and emptying your mug until the descale light goes off (took me about 3 full tanks of water).9. Go back to your life descale light free and enjoy your coffee. The keurig website does have the user manual online now too under their support section for further help.

Perfect for Any Coffee StationI set up a little coffee station so I could have a cup first thing in the morning without having to go downstairs, because every time I do the dogs wake up and then I have no peace getting ready in the morning! 😂 this seems to work great. I love the Reservoir so that I can have a couple of cups of coffee without having to worry about refilling every time. I would recommend this if you only have a little bit of space, or if you want to do like I did, and have a little coffee station upstairs!

Perfectly, simple, coffee machineAll you do is lift the top. Then it is automatically on. Put in you k-cup and select the size. It brews immediately. Very hot, not sure how it heats up that fast! Automatically turns off in less than a minute. Holds about 4-8oz cups. Super small and light. I am single and this is very quick and easy to use. The perfect little coffee machine!

KEURIG. SIMPLE. SPACESAVING.I admit it. I am a coffee maker addict. I have 4 in my home and 2 at my office. Over many years I have owned almost every brand and type of coffee maker. I stand by Ninja as the best drip maker. Their barista line allows you to do just about any type of coffee you want. I have a Bielleti stovetop espresso maker and a larger espresso machine on my countertop.Above just to make a point, but let’s talk about this little Keurig. I wanted a compact pod unit that I could use on those mornings that I don’t feel like messing with filters, grounds, tamper, etc. But I did not want to compromise on the taste. I love this little thing! Love the fact that you have 8, 10 or 12 oz option for cup size. Love the fact that it has a “strong” button. Push the strong button before you choose your cup size. The water tank holds enough for me to have two cups each morning for two days. The coffee temp is hot.Remember, the quality of the coffee you brew, no matter which type of brewer you use, depends not only on the appliance but also the coffee you choose. Enjoy!

Super Value At This Price PointPerfect size for travel with enough capacity for three coffee lovers. At the reduced price I got this for, it’s a big thumbs up. Brews great coffee in less than a minute. Three brewing size options with a removable water tank. Now I leave my bigger units at home.

There is no six ounce option.I like there is a button for strong. With my old machine I had to add water for every cup I made and I made six ounce cups. There is no six ounce button. The smallest size is 8 oz.I like the convinience of a water tank. The cap to the water tank is not hinged, but using the packing tape on the straight edge of the cap acts as a hinge. The button for strong doesn’t make up for the eight ounce cup size. I might retun this. I’m testing on decaff. I’ll test a Major Dickenson pod tomorrow morning.*****UPDATE*****I love the strength of Major Dickenson with the maker set to 8 ounce and strong. Drinking it black it has that earthy black mud consistency that I love. What I tested with last night was a defaff, Green Mountain Breakfast Blend. It was disappointingly weak. I also tested on Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Dark Magic. It was acceptably strong at the eight ounce + strong setting. One thing I don’t like is the spots around the coffee maker that are from splashes out of the cup when the coffee is dripping. I use a cup with an 8-1/3 ounce capacity and consequently not much height. The spots from coffee splashing are a little bit annoying.

compactLike this one so far because it has only 1 pin in cover that goes into pod. The other pots that have more pins makes more of a mess with water and coffee splattering out of cup. Wish they would go back to all having 1 pin.

Easy to UseI am fast coming up on 6 months of ownership and use of my Keurig K-Express Coffee Maker. It has been easy and enjoyable to use daily and brews a good cup of coffee.I recently had the “Descale” light illuminate for the first time and when I first attempted to descale my coffee maker I encountered what I believe several other people have mentioned in their reviews: I thought I followed the printed instructions for descaling but never got the “Descale” light to extinguish. Although my Keurig K-Express still brewed coffee, for peace of mind I made another effort to successfully descale my coffee maker. Following the printed instructions I made a concentrated effort to push the 12-oz. and 8-oz. buttons at the same time (the descaling initiating sequence) and hold for 3 seconds and was successful because the rest of the descaling process went as described in the manufacturer’s instructions. Now my “Descale” light is no longer illuminated. If your experience was the same as mine on your first effort try again and see if you don’t have the same success as I did.

Love my Keurig! This is my first Keurig, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I’m really enjoying it. This model is compact enough to fit in a smaller space, but has enough of a water tank that you don’t have to fill it for each cup. Love that.It brews a cup very quickly: from the moment you push the button, to having a cup of piping hot coffee in your hands is exactly 90 seconds!I also purchased a 3 drawer pod holder, and filled it with a variety of coffees, cappuccinos, and teas. Family and guests love choosing their own pod and brewing a quick cup.If I’ve brewed a cappuccino, I usually run a cycle of just water before something else, like tea. There is sometimes a drip of cappucino that comes through in the next cycle, so that’s something to be aware of.Fast, hot, delicious coffee in 90 seconds. This Keurig was a great purchase, and I recommend it! 🙂
