Where has this been all my life?!?! LolThis this is soo freaking awesome!!! I can’t believe I haven’t gotten one sooner!!! No more standing at the stove forever, sprinkling a lil salt in the water so it will boil like 10 seconds sooner….🙄 or you leave after turning the stove on and your significant other walks by you in pigtails, wearing a teeny tiny mini skirt with no underwear!! 🤤 and it’s an obvious requirement that you Chase that booty down because you just happen to have a ticket to “POUND TOWN” in your pocket, and it’s definitely time to give it to her so she ride the “rides!! 😉”. So after about 30min to an hour later you come back to the kitchen and you realize that you’ve won the worst cook in the world hat and you have burnt water and through the bottom of the pan because you were impatient and wanted the water to boil fast so the stove was maxed out…….well this lil baby will absolutely save your sweet butt from that ever happening to you because it literally boils water in no time flat and next time the pound town fair comes to town you will be just finishing up your bowl of (insert your choice of food here) and when you get back there won’t be any molten steel burning a hole through your kitchen floor!!!! (OH I just wanted to also say that whole story was just a hypothetical…. IDK who that happened to but it’s just a given that has happened many a time during every forknight) So in conclusion, yes you freaking need this thing and your significant other will thank you later instead of taking pictures so she can post on FB hoe great of a Chef you are!!!🤑

I love this product!I had a product totally lined with plastic–water cooked in it smelled and tasted like plastic forever. That’s not healthy, either! I wanted to live more healthily and wanted good-tasting water for a delicious cup of tea. I was adamant at finding a glass and stainless steel electric hot water pot. That means that even the inner lid should be made of stainless steel! Furthermore, since I had just remodeled my kitchen, the kettle had to be STYLISH. I found this COSORI Electric Kettle! It’s my dream come true! I love it. I use it every day and am 100% satisfied. Why? It boils water fast; water tastes good; a beautiful circle of blue lights come on when electricity is on; my hand or face does not get burned when pouring hot water out of it thanks to the special safety-featured lid structure; the hinged lid opens wide enough to allow pouring water in and out very easily; and it is stylish to enhance the decor of my new kitchen. I don’t even have to rinse or clean the interior of the kettle. I just pour the remaining water out and keep the lid open ajar for a few hours. And voila! The kettle is perfectly clean and spotlessly dry for the next use. I came back to this page just to write this review. I am THAT MUCH happy with my kettle.

Pretty good!No temperature control but I just need it to boil and stop automatically when it has boiled so it’s perfect for my needs. Seems well built, the glass kettle does not impart any odors at all to the water. The blue light when it is on is very visible so no chance of leaving it on and forgetting and even if you do the auto off will come in upon boiling. Boils VERY vigorously so do not exceed the maximum level marking even though it looks rather low for the body of the kettle!Only complaint is that the metal screen at the spout is much smaller than the opening and doesn’t actually cover the opening well. Doesn’t bother me here but if you have creepy crawlers where you intend to use it, be careful.I am using this several times a day and liking it a lot!

Everything You Need, Nothing You Don’tInexpensive, large capacity (boils 1.7 liters of water consistently in 7 minutes). Simple, but also beautiful, especially when the ring of blue LEDs at the bottom of the kettle is on. For such a large kettle, the design is surprisingly ergonomic. The handle has a large diameter, stays cool to the touch, and is placed so that the kettle is well balanced when either full or empty. Being glass, the kettle needs to be handled carefully, and the on/off switch at the base of the handle, while reliable in operation,, seems fragile. I’ve only had the kettle for a week, so I can’t speak to its long term reliability, but it has performed exactly as advertised so far, and I’m very happy with it. One caveat: I only use it to boil filtered water, as my area is known for its hard water. While it looks easy to descale if and when I need to, I would definitely not attempt to boil anything but plain water in it,

Boils COLD water in 4 minutes. Metallic spout strainer…not plastic.April 2022 Update:After almost a year of using the pot, it became difficult to switch on. I immediately bought a duplicate; because, dang it! I love this pot! After I put in the order, I was demonstrating to my husband how it doesn’t turn on, and it turned on! My only explanation of what was happening was that something got wet and it hadn’t dried out yet. I do tend to shoot the water from the tap across the counter into the pot…just to make housework more fun. Maybe I should stop doing that, because water can get into the handle. If your pot suddenly stops working, my suggestion is to unplug it and briefly take a blow dryer to the electric base and the pot’s base. If you have time, forget the blow dryer, and just set it aside to dry naturally. Many of my appliances, when over heated or wet, will cut off and become unusable until it cools or dries out.At least I have another pot. If this gets wet again, I can replace it with the new pot until this one dries out. I’m thinking of buying another pot just for the purpose of boiling eggs. That way, I won’t have to worry about bacteria getting in the coffee.July 2021 update…so, yes, just like others have reported, about a month or so after using it, it suddenly wouldn’t turn on. No light, no heat. But I’m not one to sit idly by, and accept a setback as my new reality. No, Sirree! If I’m going to throw something out, I’m going to figure out the cause of the setback so I can repair it. In this case, the first ring around the protruding pin at the center of the bottom of the carafe became rusted. The rust blocks a current between the base and the carafe, preventing the unit from working effectively. If you place the pot at a different angle (place the pot with your alternate hand, for instance), it may work. At any rate, I simply used a fine-grade sand sponge and sanded off the rust. Steel wool may work, also; but it is a very precise and microscopic job, either way. After I sanded off the rust, I blew off the rust residue and added a thin coat of coconut oil to prevent further rusting. So far, so good. I added pictures to point out the rust. As for the white spots inside the pot, that’s going to happen if you have hard water. Hey, you didn’t hear about people in the 16th century complaining about spots in their water boiler, did you? Of course not! Those lucky people didn’t have to deal with water spots, because they carried their water in from the creek and poured it in an iron kettle. I’m sure you can find an iron kettle on Amazon. I’m not sure where your closest creek is. Maybe Google Maps can show you…OR…you can buy white vinegar or just pretend the spots aren’t there.Mild update: Since I’m correcting typos that I failed to catch earlier, I will say as of today, June 14, 2021 the coconut oil appears to be holding its own. I added a wee bit more, but the kettle hasn’t stopped or failed to start since I applied the first thin coat. 🙂Older review: I love it! My last water boiler almost caught my house on fire, leaked and the water sloshed out of the spout. This water boiler pours very smoothly and boils 1 liter of COLD water in four minutes. I haven’t timed warm water, but I will confirm it’s going to be less than four minutes. The blue light is ok; not as spectacular as I thought it would be. But I didn’t buy this for entertainment. The spout strainer pulls forward, covering the spout when you close the lid. When you open the lid, it has a spring that allows the strainer to be moved down for filling water. It doesn’t stay down, but it won’t snap off when you’re trying to fill the carafe, which was its intended purpose, I believe. It IS made of metal, so you don’t have to worry about poisoning your family with seeping plastic chemicals. In fact, nothing on or in this pot that comes in contact with liquid is made of plastic. The handle and outside of the lid are plastic for the purpose of insulating you from burns. I have on occasion been forced to use a silicone potholder to support the base while pouring, but I wouldn’t remove points for that.It does NOT have a temp control…but you CAN watch it boil and could probably judge from the water’s action and reaction when it’s the temperature for you. Over time, you be a pro and figuring the proper tea temp.I really do like this pot, and would recommend it for my own grandmother, if she was alive to use it.The price is good for the product. I’d buy it if I were you. You don’t know when the price will rise.I have a heat streak. So if something does go wrong with the pot after posting this review, I will be sure to return to post the issues. For now, it’s working great!

Been workinge reliably for months now, easy to cleanReally pleased with this. I use it on average twice a day to boil a pot of water for making ice tea.It will bring the full capacity to a rolling boil in about 6 minutes – if you use hot water from the tap, it’ll obviously get there more quickly. The lid is sturdy, and latches well, which gives sense of safety when pouring a big jug of boiling water. Likewise, the handle is substantial, and allows for a solid grip. While I don’t have hand/joint mobility issues, I think this product would still work well for someone who does. The exterior, base, and glass all clean up very easily – I just use a dry dish towel once it’s cooled down. The inside bottom of the stainless steel will gradually build up mineral deposits. Maybe every 3 weeks I take it ouside (to avoid the smell), and boil maybe a half liter of white vinegar. Dissolves them right away and leaves it like new again. The switch is large, easy to flip, and a safe distance from the “hot parts”. It switches off reliably and quickly once it’s reached a rolling boil.I’ll be honest and say I think the blue LED’s are a little gimmicky, but that’s just a matter of my taste/preference.

I never knew water could boil that quicklyThis says for use with water only, but I use it to brew tea. I used to brew tea on the stove, but would grow impatient waiting for it to boil so would multi-task. About 50% of the time, it would boil over because I’d forget. That is not a concern anymore. This turns itself off! I boil the water with tea bags and then walk away. Let it continue to steep until I’m ready to use it. One pot of water, with 8 tea bags, if steeped long enough, can be diluted to make a full gallon. Our family goes through a gallon a day during warm months, so this pitcher paid for itself long ago.

AwesomeAs a blind individual, I needed something simple, and had a wide spout that would not cause the water to spill over the side. It fits perfectly over the rim of your average cup. The lid is easy to open and close with the button at the back. I also love the fact that it only has one control, START. Put it on the surface, then push the lever down. Heats up the water in under 2 minutes. Of course, you want to know how much your water is boiled. I usually listen for the bubbles, and when they reach the loudest volume I pull up the lever.Unless

Great – So Far Even Though Made in ChinaJust bought it, so can’t comment on longevity. However thought it would be worthwhile to offer first impressions. Looks nice. Worked as advertised right out of the box (which is good because delivery person (from the sound of it hitting the porch) tossed it from a fair distance. No damage at all, so obviously well protected for shipping. Heated water to boiling fairly quickly and got it to full boil and then shut off. Visual cue (blue LED) that it is heating a nice touch. And, as advertised, mouth is big enough to easily get hand in for wiping it down. Made in China, so I can only hope it lasts.

nice looking glass podThis one has a good capacity for large amount of hot water.I use it for making tea or drip coffee (brews lot faster than in a regular coffee machine which keeps the aroma and won’t take too much of the bitter/acids. Also works well with a French press.Glass boiler is much easier to be filled with the desired amount of water, you can see through. While with metal boilers you have to peak inside. It is super easy to clean it out. Also don’t see that much calcium build up like in my old metal one.
