Great value for the money. Good quality of the metal – sturdy and sharp

The grip on this knife is amazingly ergonomic and grippy. It’s also just crazy sharp, maybe it’ll dull over time, but the first time I cut bread with it, it sliced through it like a butter knife through water, it was nearly effortless and left the bread without any compression dents. Admittedly, the bread I cut didn’t really have a crust, but it still made very few crumbs and was very clean. I will have to try again with a sourdough bread for the ultimate challenge.Frankly, I’m little afraid to use the knife. I guess I just need to make sure I’m paying full attention when I’m using it and to definitely not let the kids cut bread with it.

Love this knife. Looks good. Cuts great. Have had ours for about 3 mos and still sharp. Have even used it to cut watermelon and steaks :). Great knife!

It works!By that, I mean that it cuts without slipping off the bread like some of my other bread knives do. It’s relatively inexpensive and I highly recommend it.If you’re looking for a showpiece, this isn’t it. It’s a no-frills, very good working bread knife. Like their chefs knife, it works great and is a super bargain. If that’s what you care about get it and you won’t be disappointed.

America’s Test Kitchen reviewed this knife and loved it. It’s funny because while they usually rate a bunch of products and list both a “top” item as well as some “notable” runner-ups, this time they just gave it all to this one knife. Apparently it beats out a ton of other competitors that cost way more too.I got the blue handle version because it’s slightly cheaper than the black handle one for some reason, despite looking snazzier and being easier to find in the drawer of black-handle knives. So far it slices through loaves of bread with ridiculous ease. No complaints except I wish I had purchased this earlier.

Sharp as all get out! I only use this on smoked brisket and it cuts as well as any expensive knife!

For the money you won’t find a better bread knife. It slices the bread without shmoosing it, if you know what I mean.

If you want to slice hard, crusty, artisan bread, buy this knife. It has a solid, sharp, long, hefty and well-balanced blade. Made short work, but very nice even slices out of my very crusty sourdough bread. I returned the highly-rated and severely underpowered electric knife I bought and got this one. So glad I did. Worth every penny.

The best bread knife I’ve used for the price. Build quality is great and cuts well!
