Love themBought a set of two for salt and pepper near the stove. My husband and I love them for cooking. Wouldn’t use them for the table, but for cooking they are perfect. Nice size holes for each, and you can see how much is left in the containers- not that you have to refill them very often.

Works greatI use these to keep my wing seasonings in. They are perfect for applying the seasoning as light or heavy as you like. I like my wings spicy but my wife likes hers less spicy.

I had to tweak itI saw this cup (or one very much like it) on an Alton Brown rerun, and it was exactly what I’ve been needing. So I found it on Amazon and ordered it immediately. There was just one tiny problem when I received it–all three lids were so tight that I couldn’t get them on the cup. I tried microwaving them to soften, but that didn’t work. I tried soaking each lid in hot water to soften and then quickly put it on the cup, leaving it in place to stretch it while it dried. That did work, but next time I went to put the lid on the cup, it had shrunk back to its previous too-small size and wouldn’t fit again. So what I ended up doing was sanding down the lip of the cup with my Dremel till the lids would snap on over it. It’s not a perfect solution, but at least it makes the product usable, which it wasn’t before. I don’t know if I received a slightly defective version or if they’re all like this. I love the idea, but I shouldn’t have had to take a power tool to a kitchen utensil to get it to do what it’s designed to do. Otherwise I’d have given it five stars.Edited to add: I should have read the reviews, I guess! Normally I do.

excellent for applying dry rubsprobably not a necessary purchase since I was going to use an empty garlic powder container but this has the added benefit of various lids (depending on how fine or coarse your dry ingredients are). it does evenly apply the rub more vs just sprinkling the rub with your fingers.

Needed For Every KitchenI needed an ability to evenly spread rub on meats I cook outside. These give you the ability to coat with as little or as much as you desire very evenly. Different size lids accommodate different ingredients with the ability to apply evenly. If you use any kind of mixed seasonings you need this.Good quality clear plastic allows you to see what you have and the amount remaining. Easy to clean.Wish I had bought earlier.

perfect for my needsI do a lot of grilling and also use a pellet grill. I prepare a lot of large cuts of beef and pork. I make my own seasonings and rubs. This makes it easy to evenly distribute the seasonings across my work. I used to use old spice containers, I will never go back. Plan on getting a couple more to have on hand when I need several seasonings at the same time.

Kitchen must have!I ordered several of these to season my food. I use six or seven seasonings and use these cups with the different lids to determine the amount of season I want on my food. These are great for anything you want to shake or sprinkle.

Perfect For My BBQ RubPerfect size for my backyard BBQ rub. Will last for several barbecues. I did not want a larger container since I do not cook out that often. Too much rub would start to cake before I could use it. Because the dredge is made of clear polycarbonate it allows me to readily see how much rub is in it. The three different size lids give it added versatility. However, as other reviewers have mentioned, the lids require a bit of manipulation to get them seated on the dredge. That’s why I gave the dredge only four stars. Considering its features and price, it’s a decent deal.

Well made but smaller.A little smaller than I anticipated but is sufficient for my needs. Three different mesh sized tops from very fine to moderately large. I dont believe it will handle larger grind herbs.

The Answer!Having used a couple of screw-on lid metal dredges for years in my barbecuing backyard shenanigans, I grew to hate them: the lids jam up and become a real wrestling match to remove them for cleaning, etc.. These plastic ones are just the ticket: the lids pop off when needed, and the lid hole sizes are perfect for getting the rubs on. love ‘em!
