WE ARE BOSTON WAREHOUSE…a Boston-based, creative Gift, Housewares & Home Decor company
In 1974, Peter Jenkins started his company with a ‘warehouse in Boston’ importing whimsical textiles and colorful ceramics from Europe. Now over 45 years later, Peter and his Boston Warehouse team are still at it. Maybe we have expanded our product sourcing, maybe we’ve added to the talented team and moved into bigger digs as our list of products and categories has grown, but we are still Boston Warehouse, bringing our brand, vision and unique style of creative gifts, housewares and home decor to independent retailers and larger specialty stores worldwide.
Our team is committed to fulfilling Peter’s original vision of creating unique, fun, imaginative and inspired gifts, housewares and home decor. From our amazing design team who have their finger on the pulse of the latest trends to our account coordinators and warehouse teams who ensure products arrive on time, Boston Warehouse is dedicated to delighting our retailers and bringing joy to our consumers

Cute Shakers but Big HolesCute shakers, but the holes are rather big so you have to watch yourself with the salt. Also the llama colors don’t match the number of holes for salt and pepper designation standards. I’ve always understood a salt shaker to have 2 holes, pepper 3, but this set is the reverse if you plan to use the darker llama (logically) for pepper. Still, they’re very cute and easy to fill.

Cute but chipped earThese are made from a soft clay which makes them more prone to chipping. Like some other people, the ear on one of the shakers arrived chipped. There were no other issues with the items and I am happy with how they look.. minus the chipped ear. They look like the photos and a review said they were not as big as they’d like. I think they’re the right size as they are not too small and not large. They seem to have the size capacity of cute shakers you’d probably buy at a target.

Very cute but the colors are switched! These are great, save for a few quality-of-life issues. They are quite adorable sitting on my countertop and don’t require refilling very often. The rubber stoppers are quite soft and may leak a little, though this isn’t a huge issue. The main thing we had to get used to was that the coloring is counterintuitive. The salt shaker with fewer holes is brown, while the pepper shaker with one extra hole is white. If you just pay attention to the color of each llama’s face, you’ll be fine. It’s unfortunate that every meal now tastes a little bit like racial profiling.

Llama Salt & Pepper Shakers – what’s not to love?We have an inside joke in the family about llamas, and we need some salt & pepper shakers that don’t tip easily and that don’t leak out the bottom. So, I thought I’d give these a try. Winner on all fronts! Everyone thinks they are adorable – they named them “Sal” and “Pippa.” The stoppers fit snugly, so nothing leaks from the bottom. The wide base prevents tipping. The only drawback is the large holes at the top – the salt comes out very fast! So, use caution.
