Marcelline LeTourneau –
Larger than expectedLid wholes needed to be poked through by hand with a pick but the shakers are beautiful. Larger size than expected.

Beautiful salt and Pepper shakersPerfect salt and pepper to dress up your table.
Honest feedback –
Too good to be trueThere are two problems with these shakers. First, when they arrived one of them was inexplicably leaning to the side. The base was flat, but the entire “body” was leaning. (Think Tower of Pisa) It is weird. And, unattractive. I’m assuming that this issue is unique to my pair so it must be a “fluke.” However, the second problem is that the holes in the head of both shakers are too small. The holes are so tight that they literally don’t pass even a TINY amount of salt or pepper. I tried “widening” them using a variety of pointed metal objects (scissors, knife, nail, tweezers) I was able to increase the size only slightly. I would have returned but I live in a country where that is an incrediably complicated and expensive process. When I first saw these listed I thought that the price was too good to be true…I guess I was right

Very prettyI purchased these because I could not find a bud vase I liked for my bathroom vanity Perfect for what I wanted and a much better price than purchasing two bud vases

So super pretty, just not as functional. These are so pretty and I had to have them but they don’t work really well. If you want something fancy, these are perfect. If you want to taste some pepper on your food, use a real pepper shaker. This comes out so little at a time, that your FitBit will give you actual steps, thinking that you’re walking. I mean, I was swinging my arm so hard to get pepper and salt out, I almost gave up and just had a smoothie for dinner. But they’re pretty, so there’s that.

Gorgeous crystal salt and pepper shaker setBeautiful crystal design. Heavyweight durability. Large capacity. Silver tone caps. Holes need to be drilled out slightly larger for salt and pepper to flow through adequately. Overall very pleased. Go with my silver candelabra.

What are these holes??These are lovely to look at but terrible to use. The tops consist of tiny holes all around the edges rather than the very top of the lids. Practically speaking, this means when you shake it a very small amount actually goes where you want it. Rather, salt or pepper is spreading pretty much everywhere and in a very fine, very difficult to detect pattern. This makes it difficult to actually season your food and impossible to keep the seasoning off of other foods on your plate. Wish that I had returned them but I waited to use them and thought it would be too late.

Nice, but way too bigThese were much larger than I anticipated. I returned them.

Crystal Glass but plastic tops. They look nice, shame they don’t have Stainless Steel Tops. If the Holes are a Problem just make the holes bigger with a small drill bit on slow speed. This problem can happen when Moisture in the air clumps the Sugar together inside the shaker. I’ve even done this with a Stainless Steel Shaker in the past.

Crystal salt and pepperLovely looking item but the salt and pepper does not flow freely but they definitely looked good on the table
