I bought this first mug in CA, and loved them so much b/c the handle didn’t get hot from microwaving, and the mug was ergonomically perfect for me. So, I ordered ten more mugs through Amazon. A box arrived from China, packaged in a thoughtful but odd way with white foam pieces flying around everywhere when I opened up the boxes inside. Chose to laugh, not cry. I recently noticed that the handle on one of the new mugs this time got fairly hot, so not sure these are really Starbucks authorized mugs, but they are very cool.

I ordered 2 pot-bellied Starbucks mugs based on the item’s illustration. When the mugs arrived they weren’t as pictured on the page. While they had Starbucks logo & held the correct amount of fluid (14 oz – but I wouldn’t have been able to walk with all 14 oz without spilling) they didn’t have the pot-bellied shape that prompted me to order them in the first place. By pot-bellied I mean a mug that widens at the middle, then at the top returns to the same size as the bottom. This mug does not curve in at the top. Disappointed!

I purchased this mug as part of a birthday gift for my boyfriend. He had recently broken his favorite coffee mug and this was its repleacement. He absolutely loves it! I bought it almost a year ago and it’s held up perfectly with boiling coffee and microwave sessions. It does has a little staining in the bottom but it probably wouldn’t if it was cleaned right after use. (It is white after all.) Overall, it was a great choice and I couldn’t be happier with it!
