Stop looking at other bread knives.The baker handed this loaf to me with a challenging glare that seemed to say, “Oh I dare you to try and conquer this dense, behemoth of a loaf.” And I took that personally. Scouring the internet for the best bread knives that could serve me in my quest, I came across this knife. When it arrived, I was apprehensive to try and use it. Perhaps it was the lack of confidence the baker had in me. I was questioning my abilities and feeling as though the baker had created the final, unconquerable boss: Jalapeño-Cheddar Sourdough. Still, I unwrapped the loaf, placed it on my cutting board and said, “I’m going to make you my bitch, bread.” The moment this knife made contact with the loaf, I felt what I can only explain as divine power radiating through me. Slice by slice, I annihilated the sourdough with the unwavering skill and precision of a ninja. 10/10, would slice again.

This thing is basically a lightsaber that cuts breadI’m baking more bread, and wasn’t happy with the bread knife I had. I got this one on recommendation from a YouTube channel. I have an admiration for simple things that do their job well. This knife slices through bread effortlessly and leaves a surgically clean cut behind it. Absolutely perfect at its job. It is also very comfortable to hold and use. Spring for the $4 blade guard if you don’t have someplace good to store it because this thing is sharp.

Shockingly goodI hadn’t thought my previous bread knife was that bad, but this one slices so easily! And makes thin slices, too. Makes my old bread knife look like a hack saw. It’s not necessarily the prettiest knife I’ve ever used, but it is really good at its job. I make a pretty crusty bread, and I really appreciate not having to struggle with slicing.

Great knife for the price.I own Wusthof knives and my serrated knife was getting dull. . I use it mostly for slicing bread and to replace it is $150. . I was skeptical when this knife was recommended. It is amazing! Cuts through bagels and homemade bread like a dream. I bought several more as Christmas gifts. Great purchase.

Best Knife I’ve Bought In A Long TimeThis knife is great at just about anything I ask it to do. My only caution is that it is so long that it’s easy to lose track of where the end is and IT WILL CUT into whatever it runs into by mistake. It is sharp enough to cut through your counter if you get it off the edge of your cutting board. Also, buy a good cut glove for your off hand…

My All-Time favorite bread knife!I’ve been making sourdough bread for a long time and it’s been frustrating to try to find a good knife (at a reasonable price) that will easily cut through the sourdough bread crust – but this is definitely IT! It handles beautifully and easily slices every loaf of sourdough – it’s such a game changer to not have those ragged cuts from inferior knives. I love this knife so much – I take care to hand wash it after each use and tuck in a drawer to keep the blade sharp. I highly recommend this knife and will be buying another as a back-up!

Great cheap knife. Cheaper than sharpening!Great knife, intended it as temporary knife while I got my good Henkel sharpened. But this knife is cheaper than sharpening my existing one. Sad commentary on our world.
