Worth the investment

This is my second Wusthoff tomato knife purchase, bought to use at my friend’s house and leave there. The benefits-cost ratio is excellent!
Blade is thin and very sharp, able to slice delicate tomato skin without tearing or cut tougher tissues such as cucumber skin, equally well.
The handle is “just right” length and thinckness for adult hands/gripping, and the overall balance is “perfect” as far as I am concerned. The double points on the blade’s end performing beautifully as a serving fork for moving tomato slices, watermelon chunks…you name it, from cutting board to one’s plates or bowls!
My first one is about twenty years old, sharp as ever, and looks like new~ having hand washed and then immediately towel dried after use.
I whole-heartedly recommend this knife to every “chef”, whether novice or “old hand” in the kitchen!

This knife has replaced one that I’ve had for over 40 years by a different manufacturer. I like the ease of use, and the sharpness of the blade as well as the end of the knife. I use primarily for slicing tomatoes, but it can be used for other things as well. A good knife to have.

I was struggling to cut tomatoes with a tiny little 3″ serrated knife for so many years until I finally threw my hands up and said, there must be a better, longer serrated knife! When I went searching, I found this knife… A Tomato Knife! It works wonderfully, like a tool doing what it was designed to do! I’m so happy about this knife, I don’t know why it took me so long to realize I needed one.

Works brilliantly! I don’t know how I went on without this. Makes prepping and cooking 100x easier. Good quality. Would most definitely recommend.
