This inexpensive scale makes meal planning & portion control easy. In addition to multiple units (g,oz,lb,ml,FL oz) you can weigh multiple ingredients.
Really cool feature: put your container on the scale, then turn on and scale will read zero. Add the 240ml of milk for example, turn off. Turn on and switch to grams, you can get your 33 g of peanut butter, repeat process for protein powder, then throw in your bananas and ice and you know exactly what your smoothie’s nutrition facts are.

I’ve been using this scale for two months now. I’m using it more than I thought I would. It’s small footprint makes it easy to leave on my counter. I don’t have much counter space so that’s important. I keep a small bowl on it so when I turn it on it’s all set to go. It’s easy to change the unit measure. I’ve measured all kinds of things, from cucumbers, tomatoes to ice cream to peanut M&Ms. This was a great buy.

Having two senior horses with very specific feeding needs required me to have a scale to measure their food. My kitchen scale was too bulky and was limited in its ability to weigh as much as I needed, so this was a very economical and simple solution to my feed needs in the barn. Easy to read, different unit measurements. Sometimes simple is best and this fills the bill perfectly. Takes up little space and is easy to clean.

Accurate measurements if you don’t use tare function. Put roughly 250ml of water on and got 250g on the scale. Put something else on there, tare it, then weigh something, it doesn’t work. See video. The load cell sensitivity isn’t great.

This is really helpful if you’re watching your diet. So many times you will be given the nutrition values and the portion amounts of food in grams or ounces and just end up guessing how much you need or don’t need. With this little scale you are always right on. Very easy to use, just read the instructions, batteries are included which is a plus. Got mine for under $10

I teach baking and pastry at a high school and needed a scale that I can use at home to test recipes for the kids at home. This scale is perfect. I loved the high limit than those at Walmart or Target and the quality is on point. My digital scales in my classroom are quite bulky. This one is small and stores easily.

This scale is pretty simple and straight forward . It is accurate by my experience. It is easy to start up, measure the weight of the container and then clear it so you can fill and weigh only the food. I primarily use it to measure out snacks when filling snack bags. It does help monitor portion sizes if you are trying to monitor calories and watch your weight for one reason or another.

My friend loves her new scale. I had it shipped directly to her and she didn’t say it arrived damaged so I assume it is fine. She says that since she has started weighing her ingredients her baking has improved dramatically. The price is more than fair and I like how far in front the digital readout projects…easy to read. All the Amazon Basic products I’ve tried have performed very well.

As it happens, I already had a scale I’ve been using for many years. I found I needed a 2nd one. I opted to try this one even though a fair # of people had pictures claiming the scale was inaccurate.
The problem is that they are weighing filled cans, not the contents. The weight specified on a package represents the packaged weight (“net weight”) and does not include the package such as the can or jar.
As you can see from the pictures I posted, I weighed first a cup (pics 1 & 2) and in the 2nd a bow/cup/storage container (pics 3 & 4). The results are the same. (Note the 1 gram difference in the last 2 pictures is because my cat jumped up on the counter and bumped everything just as I shot the picture. I didn’t think it was worth taking another picture for just 1 gram.)
When testing the scale, start with an empty container and tare the weight. In other words, reset the scale to zero with the bowl on it. (See the 5th pic.) You can accomplish by 2 different ways:
(1) with the scale turned off, set the container on the scale and then turn it on. It will be set to zero with the bowl on top not being included.
(2) after the scale is on, set the bowl (or other container) on top of the scale and press the “tare” button once (it’s the secondary function of the on/off button on the right)
Then add the contents of the container and compare it with the Net Weight on the container (6th pic; ignore scale). Note, that you will have to carefully scrape out every little bit in order to get an accurate result. (7th pic). The contents stated on the can of cat food and the amount I weighed are identical.
Note: you may get some discrepancies because it’s usually impossible to get each and every bit out of the container. I had the help of a small spatula to aid with removing all the contents. But even so, don’t be surprised if you have about 10-20 g difference from the net weight.
The only true method for determining if a scale is truly accurate is to compare it to another scale and weigh the exact same items.
