not as sturdy or thick as my othersMy old lacers (left) are much thicker than these. I have a feeling these will be bending when I don’t want them to, especially when hot. We will see.

Just the right size for poultryI had purchased them once before but misplaced them so I bought them again. Just the right length to close up the dressing cavity on either a turkey or a chicken. The price is right too.

Polymer clay bead pinsThis is was suggested by another polymer clay bead maker to use when baking them, and they really are!

PerfectThese little items are used once or twice a year, but when you need them, you need them! So glad they are stainless steel. This should be the last I have to purchase. They do come in handy for other miscellaneous jobs besides trussing up a bird.

A Cookier must!I have no idea how these are used for their intended purpose, but as a tool for cookie decorating they are ideal! I purchased these based on Julia M. Usher’s suggestion on all her videos, but then wondered if the scribe tool or ‘food pick’ recommended by other cookiers would have been a better choice. So I bought a couple of those, too. 98% of the time I reach for these little guys first. The size in my hand just feels better and like I have more control – which is critical when working on fine details.
