I love this nylon spatula.I love this spatula! I make pancakes frequently. I bought another seller’s large silicone turner primarily for pancakes. It turns out that the pancakes stick to the silicone causing many edible, but not presentable, ones. The OXO spatula does not stick and I can now make more presentable pancakes. It’s large enough for the 5″ pancakes I make. The only weakness is that nylon turners are not as high temperature tolerant as silicone ones, something like 600 degrees versus 400 degrees. Being careful you shouldn’t have a problem.

Works well but surprisingly hard to cleanFirst of all it’s a potato masher so there’s really not much in the way of functionality to review. It’s heavy and sturdy enough to get the job done assuming your potatoes are properly cooked. The one thing that I don’t like is that it is very hard to clean. I’ve used a regular sponge as well as a kitchen brush and getting stuff out from between the tines is difficult though you may have more success running it through the dishwasher.

Gets the job doneNot much to say except that this is a nice spoon. The bowl is a good size, it feels sturdy, and the handle is a good length. Recommended.

Great spatula.I always like oxo products. They are well made and stand up to use. The last spatula we had cracked and broke (Oslo designs) along with everything in that set. I’ve been slowly replacing it all with oxo tools and haven’t been disappointed. This spatula is sturdy and dishwasher safe. Also non-scratch. I highly recommend it.

A sturdy spatula that is easy to cleanIt’s solid, allows me to flip even heavier foods without problem, won’t scratch my non-stick skillets, and gunk just slides off. As far as spatulas go, I really can’t ask for anything more.

Some bonus featuresThis is my first potato masher, but I like it. Some bonus features are: it stands upright by itself, either on top of the mashed potatoes or on a plate; it will scoop along curves in a casserole while mixing and mashing, and hold the mash so you can plop a glob onto a plate with it; it would, expectedly, be a bit tricky to wash in between the tines by hand, but it rinses off really easily and it’s surprising that even though you can use it to get a nice scoop, not much at all remains stuck between the tines of it when you shake it. Oh – it mashes well (what it’s for), and evenly, and will spread out the big pats of butter over still hot potatoes with no problem, much faster and better than a fork. Light, but no hint of not being up to the task at hand. Probably good for avocado, too. The diameter is not small, so you should have a drawer big enough.
