Bormioli Rocco’s Country Home line brings the sweet combination of blue-green tinted glass and classic design right to your home. The bottle is specifically designed to hold oils, but can also be used with vinegar and other liquids. A convenient right-angled handle allows for easy grasping, and its classic appearance gives off a truly Italian feel. Additionally, a stylish cork-like stopper is included, which seals off and helps preserve the contents. Colors are infused with molten glass, making the color long-lasting and non-fading despite heavy washing.
The fine tradition of the Bormioli Rocco Group coincides with the very history of glass: the first glassworks was established in Parma in 1825. The company has always demonstrated a great drive to pioneer innovation: in machinery, materials, and design. Over the years it has developed a special talent, that of combining time-honored craftsmanship and the passion of master glassmakers with modern industrial processes. Bormioli Rocco is the leading company in its sector in Italy and a great ambassador of the Made in Italy label on international markets

Darling Little Bottle, BYOCI love this bottle, makes it easy to pour olive oil and not drop our big glass bottle of it. Did NOT come with a cork, unfortunately, but we whittled down a wine cork and it works fine (BYOC: Bring Your Own Cork). It does leak if you turn it on its side, so, don’t do that.

Lovely sturdy cruetThis cruet has a lovely, classic look and the glass appears to be sturdy. As others have noted, it drips ever so slightly after use, but that would probably be the case with any similar cruet. If properly cared for, I think it will provide years of use.I bought it to hold liquid dish soap, to add a touch of class to my sink area. I’d hoped to insert a wine/olive oil spout, so I could simply pour out the dish soap and not bother with the cork. Unfortunately, the spout I bought didn’t fit; it was too large and kept popping out. I’m a DIY girl, so I tried trimming down the rubber fins a bit, but then it was too loose. I ended up throwing away that spout, and now I use the cork.I think this cruet would also serve well for it’s designed purpose, to serve oil or vinegar. In fact, I may end up using it for that, after all, and buy a different bottle (and wine spout) for my dish soap. I’d happily recommend this to a friend, as long as they intend to use the cork and are not hoping to insert a spout.

Cute! It’s perfect for what I intended: a decorative soap dispenser! It’s a great size; I don’t feel like it’s too big or will be difficult to handle when my hands are wet while doing dishes. It’s also really cute! I love the details on the glass. It looks tinted green in the product photos, but it is clear glass. The opening is a standard size; I used an olive oil stopper from another product and it fits great. Adds a nice touch to my kitchen in place of the typical plastic soap container.

So Pretty, But…I loved this little cruet the minute I saw it but it was chipped and cracked when it arrived. It would have been so pretty as a special Christmas hostess gift.

IT’S PRETTY ON THE KITCHEN SHELFI’m using this cruet for balsamic vinegar. It doesn’t drip and looks pretty.

Smaller than expectedThis cruet will only hold maybe a cup.Disappointing.

Painfully smallThere’s been a trend to make mugs, oil holders, vinegar shakers, seemingly everything lately has been downsized. The quality is great but if I like my olive oil or whatever I decide to put in it I’m going to have to constantly refill it. It looks like it’s made for a 8-year-old.
