Very Well MadeAlways wanted one, I chose the right one! Really slices through a pie, or as a dough cutter, or trimming bacon; many, many uses! ENJOY, I have.

Why did I wait so long to buy this?If you bake pizza at home this is a great kitchen addition. I had a smaller version of this for years but it was terrible. It wobbled and wasn’t very sharp. This version caught my eye and I bought one to try it out about 2 years ago. It’s great. Cuts hot pizza (I still use a large knife on frozen pizza) quickly and effectively. It’s stayed sharp for the two years I’ve had it and it’s very easy to clean. It goes through the dishwasher just fine. I liked mine so much I bought a second one for when the other one is in the dishwasher or jic I lose the original. If you bake pizza at home and don’t have a good pizza wheel cutter, just go ahead and buy this. You wont be sorry.

Durable and Long LastingI bought this 10 months ago and I still really like the pizza cutter. This is not a low quality blade; I have used it regularly (about once a week), and the circular blade is still sharp. It is also tight up against the handle. (One thing that I hate in other pizza cutters is when the blade gets wobbly.) Although I haven’t had the need to, the blade is also removable with a screwdriver. I would guess that even if it eventually loosens up, one could tighten in without a problem. This blade is large enough to cut through DiJiorno self-rising pizzas (a personal favorite of mine). I don’t generally eat deep-dish pizza, so I haven’t tried it on one. I think it would work all right in that situation, but I would definitely recommend a bigger blade if you had a choice.Personally, I have used another style pizza cutter that has a sideways U-shaped handle that I like using better, if only because it is easier to apply pressure. This pizza cutter had a somewhat curved handle, which makes it comfortable to hold, but it is still perpendicular to the blade.Pros: Very sturdy (IE not wobbly) blade; Stays sharp even after regular use; Removable blade for washing/re-tighteningCons: May be a little small for deep-dish pizzas

Gets the job doneThis was my first pizza cutter, so I can’t really compare it to anything except a knife. I’ve been using a large santoku to cut my pizza ever since I graduated from college and I never really saw much need for a pizza cutter… until I bought a 20″ pizza pan. Took me about 10 solid minutes to cut a pizza cleanly with that! Using this pizza cutter it dices a pie in less than 30 seconds, great stuff!I went with the 4 inch blade and I imagine a 2 inch would just not be nearly as managable. It’s only like 2 bucks more too. The blade is a little wobbly, but I’ve come to realize this is part of the design. The screw and nut can be undone to thoroughly clean it if you had a wild night of pizza cutting, but for the most part it’s nice to just be able to retighten it.Overall, a solid purchase with little investment. I’ve also used it to cut my homemade noodles into wacky shapes and pie crust dough to fit into a tin.
